"Amazing! Literally amazing all around! The hotel is new and modern. Very upscale and well designed. Great location. Not really on a white sandy beach, but the swimming area is great. Room was very large and well designed. Huge bathroom with spacious shower and a tub. Included breakfast was amazing - one of the best we ever had. The staff is so friendly and helpful and well trained. Everyone had a smile and super accommodating. Minor issue was addressed quickly and with class. This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at and definitely the best hotel on Crete. Management at the hotel is doing a great job! We cannot be happier! Thank you!"

"This is an excellent base, to explore Chania and the western part of Crete. It was so peaceful. The house is wonderful, with great spaces inside and out to congregate. But, it was also easy to have some privacy."

"Lovely villa, fantastic pool and garden area. Bit of a walk to Kalyves but downhill. Easy to get a taxi back up! Cleaner was great. Company very responsive via email. Would have liked some information about things in the villa and where to go to shop and eat, taxi services to use, things to do around the area etc. It would have been nice to have been left basics like bottled water, coffee, bread when we first arrived. "

"A great villa in a great location - if you are looking for peace and quiet. The views are amazing, the private pool was a total bonus. Great facilities, wifi for a 10 year old invaluable. Great kitchen equipment. The pool was cleaned during our stay and the local property team always at hand if required. Although they were not as the property was in great shape for our stay. "Lovely, bright, spacious villa, beautiful views. Almyrida is a lovely town with plenty of great restaurants to choose from.We hired a speed boat from Antonis Boat Rentals which was a holiday highlight. Kera beach is only a 10 minute walk from the villa, not much sand, but a lovely dip in the sea"

"Great service from booking through to our 2 weeks - excellent to have the villa cleaned and new bedding and bath towels provided twice during our stay - pool cleaned and rubbish taken away regularly. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our first evening- by the next day we had been given a temporary one and a new one was installed a day later.The villa its self has the most amazing views through out the day - you can spend many hours relaxing around the pool. Lovely taverna within walking distance - beach with beach bar 15 min walk. Kalives has all you need to dine in or dine out. Once you have found the turning off the road to the villa your fine - first time can be a bit tricky but directions given are useful. We had an excellent 2 weeks and loved exploring a new area "
