Wonderful hotel, excellent location, great breakfast and lovely staff, what more could you ask for. 5 minute walk to. Chania old own and the harbour, 15 minute walk to a lovely safe beach where you can have lunch and get sunbeds at the Alos. Super relaxing week away, would highly recommend. Oh, and has a pool so you can just swim and chill with drinks if you want to be extra lazy 😀

Room was clean, although small overall the rest of the property makes up for it with the cozy lounge and great breakfast buffet! The hotel staff went above and beyond for us during our stay there to make it extra special including a special treat for our honeymoon. The valet parking service was easy to use and the staff again were amazing and even gave recommendations on where to go in Crete. The hotel itself is 5-10min walk to anything you may want in Chania. Highly recommend!

Clean rooms and staff were really helpful. Good choice of food at breakfast. We were travelling in the evening and were able to use the showers, which meant we were able to go to the beach on our last day. Very pleasant stay!

The hotel was very clean and staff were so helpful with everything we asked. From needing an iron in our room to planning day trips. They even took the topper of the mattress bc my brother in law needed the bed more firm. Breakfast was incredible. I felt like I was in a resort with the choices we had. The only minor complaint I have is the lights in the room were a little too dark for me. But such a minor inconvenience and only bc I have poor vision.

We absolutely loved Samaria Hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Great choices for breakfast. The location is ideal for exploring the town and the valet service for parking the car was ideal.

Clean and modern hotel and excellent location, a couple minutes walk from the old town streets and harbour area. Friendly staff and small pool area which was hard to find in close vicinity to the old town. Only minor detractor was lack of bar service at the pool.

Any time I am in Chania I will be staying here. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The amenities are amazing. The new chef has curated an absolutely delicious menu. Get the beet salad, it’s life changing. The burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. Dimitra, Stavroula, Esmania, and Anna-Maria were the sweetest servers. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The pool is just the right depth and temperature.
