We had a fabulous time

We really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely property with lots of space, both indoor and outdoor. A great place for a relaxing break. We will most certainly be back.

Hilltop Heaven

Extremely spacious and well furnished. Everyone had great fun with the pool table and table tennis. Wood was plentiful for the stove as well as firelighters. The kitchen was well equipped and had a large gas cooker, as well as provisions like tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc. We really wanted for nothing. Would highly recommend.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We rented this property for three nights and loved the space and architecture of the house. The house has something for everyone from pool, table tennis to a beautiful yard which our dogs enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again

Architecturally amazing. Very spacious and we loved having access to a pool table during our stay. The undercover area for parking was a bonus.

Amazing

Even better than it looks in the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our UK relatives were absolutely thrilled to see a Koala in the tree outside their bedroom. Highly recommended, we hope to be back.

Wonder weeks stay

We enjoyed our stay of 5 nights as did our golden retriever. A very relaxing time in a beautiful house. A welcoming fire on our arrival. Everything was perfect (the only issue was getting the TVs going too many remotes but eventually got there) Thoroughly recommend we will definitely return. Thanks for the memories and lovely to meet Dad who came by to add to the firewood 👌

Magnificent house

Stayed 3 nights in this magnificent contemporary house in a lovely quiet setting. Has everything needed for a fantastic stay. Only gripe - the house was not clean, dirty pots and plates in kitchen drawer, possibly from the previous guests, few spider webs with spiders and dust on picture frames etc. Interesting since I understand the cleaner was there just before we arrived. This is a magnificent house and it needs to be presented better, paricularly for the price.

Delightful getaway

Myself and 4 friends hired out the house for a weekend away. Our plan was to relax and connect with each other. The house is stunning and is far enough from town to feel like you're alone but close enough to quickly duck in for lunch or some takeaway. The contact people for the house were extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend

Nice but could have been much better

Beautiful specious property great view of Greenland fantastic fire place for winter but only one of the bedrooms is up to standard the other two had hardly any view and any good style. plenty of spiders and spider webs inside and outside property windows most of the corners inside covered by old webs, the cleaners could certainly do better job than that . Considering its a contemporary architectural space, The kitchen equipment pots and pants not good quality in a poor condition also the oven definitely not clean could not use. Overall nice place but has so much room to improve.

Offered a refund due to no running water, but we are still waiting.

Unfortunately we experienced a series of long blackouts during our stay due to storms. The water is connected to the power so we were left with no running water for two of the three nights. We also had the owners father visit the property unannounced on two occasions. We were offered a small refund from the property manager Dennis but communication has now stopped and no refund was issued. Positives: layout of the house, large garden area, table tennis and billiard table. Negatives: no wifi, no air conditioning in bedrooms, large broken/cracked window.

Lovely property but …

Great property with good spaces. Not good for clients wanting accessible access ( as listed by the property) as there is stairs at every entrance. Lack of access made up for by the friendly koalas who were having a great party in the tree next to the house.

Loved it!

It was perfect and the house was absolutely beautiful. The location was amazing too. I booked this as a gift to my partner and we had the best of both worlds, beach, dirt bike riding and forest.

Family weekend

Cypress Hill is a beautiful property with some beautiful fittings and lots of activities to keep everyone busy. We had an enjoyable stay but encountered some issues with both the linen and quality/ maintenance of the property which I have taken up with Sharee and she is working with the owner to remedy these so future clients have a stress free time. We would love to stay again at Cypress Hill.

Fabulous house in great location

We had a wonderful stay at Cypress Hill. While ultra-modern and stylish, all the equipment is really simple to use (so we didn’t need to spend hours trying to work out how everything worked), and everything we needed was provided. The house is located on an acre of lovely lawns and native shrubs..perfect for playing games on the lawn (when not enjoying the views from the deck or playing pool on the pool table). Koalas in the trees surrounding the property were a bonus. Great experience just a couple of minutes drive from the beaches and cafes of Apollo Bay. Perfect!

Great hideaway

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend away here. The house is beautiful and the pool table was used often. Don’t be expecting internet access here though- you’ll rarely have reception and there’s no wi Fi. A great place to escape to.
