I love the location! There are plenty of dining options near, they offer a wonderful breakfast, and a free happy hour a few day during the week! Just 20 min drive to downtown! Always my go to when in the Milwaukee area!

The front desk person was Awesome. Kids loved the pool. Adults did hog up the hot tub and were very loud after 11p as we had a pool room. Overall it was a good stay and would stay again.

Not the cleanest. Carpet on stairs appeared not to vacuumed for weeks. Maybe they need to buy new vacuums. Carpet in room had several white stains. With a little effort could be taken care of. Had wrappers on the floor, TV was not plugged, alarm clock not in working order and room temperature was at 63 degrees when arrived. Sure easy enough for us to correct, but really why should we have to!? They need to focus on these types of things to be a hotel where people want to come back to.

Overall the stay was two stars. The hotel is very old and really not very well kept. The pool area was nice but the hotel overall was not great. They placed our room in the back of the hotel next to a door outside that kept us up most of the nights. Did not feel safe in this spot. The breakfast is offered in a restaurant next door but is just a buffet in the middle of a Restaurant you do not get to order or have a menu of options. Will not be staying here again.

I love the pool area. It has an all natural salt water pool. I really enjoy it. Looks of pretty light and comfortable pool chairs. Check was good the lady checking us in was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached had good food. Room was not clean could literally see sprinkles off of someone’s donut on the floor.

The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the uniqueness of the pool area, but it was cold. The water felt warm because the air was cold. There were 10-15 guests in the hot tub continuously. The walls are thin and I could hear the conversation in the room next to us. It is conveniently located.

I liked being able to buy aspirin at the front desk, since I forgot mine. I would like the hot breakfast to have been better explained to me as more of a $6 discount on a limited menu, rather than a "free" hot breakfast. Really disliking the tile floor in the room. I know it is easier to keep clean and bed bug free, but it is louder and slippery when wet. Something beyond the control of the hotel was the extraordinarily loud and talkative neighbors next door. They were up until 5 a.m. playing cards and talking loudly...and they had a baby. There was a connecting door, so we had to put up with listening to them unfortunately. Otherwise, pretty good stay for the money.

There was socks under a chair.. Made us question if the was probably cleaned. Also a million kids in the pool and hot tub. Couldn't even use either. We complained to the manager checked out with the promise of a refund.

The service from the front desk staff- especially one gal in particular who was working at all times during our two day stay, was attendant & friendly. Literally went out of her way to give advice on cabs & dining. AND they redid our room keys a dozen times without ever seeming annoyed. Which was extremely annoying for us to have it demagnetize so many times & keep having to go bug the front desk. The ice machine was out but our gal hooked us up once again. My biggest complaint is that the pool is a madhouse of big groups of children. This facility must cater to big groups of kid parties &/or sports teams so much so that we didn’t really ever get to enjoy but a short time in the hot tub each night (like 15 mins) when it wasn’t overrun but kids. And we had a poolside room which I wouldn’t have booked if I had known. The noisiness at the pool started as soon as they opened. It was hard to sleep in with that going on so unless you like to wake early, don’t rent these. And there are no adult-only hours for the pool area. With this kind of full time kid action all day on the weekend, I do think they should implement an hour without kids in the pool area.

Before I make this comment, we are not rude, trashy or disrespectful people but I didn't like this hotel mainly because they act like Communist dictators about everything. Before I even got to my room the guy at front desk told me three comments about my 3 year old with Autism....My anxiety levels were through the roof because the guy at the front desk was watching my every move. He told my kids they couldn't bounce the beach ball by the pool because he had a complaint at 6pm and my kids were the only ones at the pool and I didn't even hear huge bangs anywhere near the pool. No guests allowed. My sister came and was going to eat a pizza with us by the pool. No! She had to pay to be here and the guy had to call the manager to ask if my sister and her husband could sit in the pool area and not swim...?!? I paid a good amount of money to stay here. If you have kids, stay somewhere else. The pool is pretty but its surrounded by cameras and every little move you make the light goes on and you know they're watching you...I have 4 kids, I came to a hotel so my kids could swim and I have a break and then this guy is walking back and forth watching and waiting for us to break a rule. We wanted to order food from the restaurant and were told they Don't deliver past the front desk...well thats nice because its literally 40 steps away and if I would have left my kids unattended I would be breaking another rule. Rules! Rules!

I can see you have some bad experience about and we can understand due to high volume of guest we are try to make every guest stay better and we will personally talk to desk guy and tell him to this problem not repeat again.

My room had a missing darkening shade, and only had the daytime shade. The stopper on the bathroom sink would not open. I let the front desk know about my rooms concerns when I was checking out. She could not have been less interested. She did not write down my concerns, nor did she apologize. The overall condition of the property was in in need of a renovation.

The place was very clean and staff was very helpful/nice. The bed was extremely comfy and shower was very hot and amazing water pressure. We didn’t use the pool/hot tub but it was very clean and huge area. Next time we’re hoping to use it. would stay again anytime I’m in Appleton. Also would recommend anyone to stay there.

Your staff is the best. However We had a broken chair and our phone didn't work in the room. You also need TV Guides for your rooms so we can find the channels. Hot Tub needs some major cement work. But all in all the staff made our stay welcoming

Went to this hotel because it was close to where my nephew lives. 2 miles. While checking in was told he was not allowed to come to hotel to visit us. He were not allowed to come into hotel at all. Was forced to pay for another room so he could come and visit for a couple hours. Desk person was rude about it.
