Seacliff Mid Century Cottage 3 Min to Beach: Ocean Views, Deck and Hot Tub

See the ocean, hear the waves crashing, and smell the ocean air from this serene beach cottage.

The cottage is only 3 minute walk to the sands on Seacliff Beach. Views from both house and deck, where you can dine al fresco or have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Soak in the hot tub to end your day.

This 2 bed / 2 bath 1100 sq ft cottage is ideal for WFH, one or two couples, and family with up to two kids. Master bedroom has Nectar memory foam king size bed with en suite bathroom. Second bedroom has two high end twin XLs beds. Living room has a full sized sleeper sofa.

In addition to being 3 min walk to Beachgate which drops down to Seacliff Beach, you can walk to Rio del Mar, Pot Belly Beach and Capitola! Hungry? Stop by Manuel's for chips, salsa and margaritas, Marianne's for coffee or ice cream, or Venus Cocktails for craft cocktails on the beach.

Seeking the woods? The Forest of Nisene Marks is less than 10 minutes from the house, as is the historic town of Aptos. Santa Cruz is 10-15 minutes North by car, and the Monterey Peninsula is a 45 minute drive South.

  • Nice, long hike today. Went down the Bridge Creek Trail, and then to Maple Falls. About an 8-mile total hike. Redwoods everywhere you look, and a deep dark forest that gave lots of 'mood'. We came across a tiny snake! It was just a few inches long, red back, sunning itself on a rock in the middle of the creek.

Great location for a family getaway

I stayed here with my family for a few nights and loved the house and location. The house had everything that was advertised and check in and out was a really simple process. We had more than enough room for 3 adults and a toddler who loved running around the open living space. It’s definitely on our list to stay again whenever we are in the area.

Perfectly located beach bungalow

This property is a very short walk to a fairytale-esque path down stairs to the beach. We could enjoy sunsets from the house or the beach and it was great to come back and soak in the hot tub

Paridise on the Cliff

The house was in a very residential neighborhood of "tightly" houses BUT once you park your car and enter the house, it became a home. The pictures does not do it justice. The natural light is amazing. Even thought the beach is a 9 minute walk, you can still hear the waves. Even it is cozy home, it is also spacious. The main bedroom king size bed was just wonderful, the best sleep one could have. And just outside the sliding glass door is another little paradise. The backyard with the hot tub, is get place to get away from the wear and tear of the day. And at night a great place to look at the stars. The location of the house make it very easy to park the car in the driveway and walk to the beach or to the little business area where one can get great food and ice cream. The best thing about the place was how the property managers were very quick to respond to chats regarding the house. So in closing, when we return to Aptos, this will be the first place to check to see if it is available.

Great stay

Great house in a nice quiet neighborhood. First time staying in Aptos it was a cute lil town with some great places to eat within walking distance. The host was Joann was great and easy to reach to answer any questions we had and the house was great we really enjoyed the jacuzzi at night after a long day at the beach.

Sleep to the sound of crashing waves!

From start to finish, Joanne was a STELLAR communicator. Near immediate response times and very helpful/friendly. The cottage is absolutely stunning. I appreciated the cleanliness and particularly the comfort of the bed/linens. Ocean views out of the front windows and the sound of the crashing surf were major bonuses. This home is in a quaint and quiet village within walking distance to some excellent food choices, not to mention the beach. Easy proximity to other areas of the coast as well. Kitchen is well equipped and there is room to spread out with the two bedrooms. Relaxing hot tub for chilly nights & mornings. Highly recommend!
