"Unfortunately the stay at La Vigna did not meet our expectation. The kitchen was equipped poorly. There were a lot of ants and other insects in the apartment. The apartment was already very worn down. The pool was out of service without notice beforehand. The bedsheets were stained. It was extremely loud! It was hard to sleep until the residents above went to bed because one could hear every sound and scraping of chairs. Would not recommend especially for the high price"

"We really enjoyed our stay! Malcesine and Garda lake are beautiful. The accommodation offers everything you need. It’s clean and cosy and the property manager is very kind and helpful!"

"The views at the villa are breathtaking and better than the photos. The pool was perfect for our group of two families with kids ages 6-9. The walk to town was short but down a steep hill - other routes to town were available that were not as challenging. We fell in love with Gargnano - the people, the restaurants, the views, the gelato. Novella was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had and the check in process was very easy."

"The property is charmingly unique. Although undoubtedly old, the rooms and furnishings are full of character and amazingly spacious. The balcony view over Lake Garda is fabulous and everchanging. All seven of us could stay there all day. The town is well situated for day trips around the lake and to the Dolomites. And Jeanne was gracious, available, full of information and very personable. "Very clean apartment, exactly as the pictured in the ad. The only surprise we had, was that we got a message from owner to bring our own sheets and towels a couple days before arrival. We did not see that in the VRBO site. This caused us a bit of trouble since we had to buy those items. We are not used to this in the US. "The view from our balcony was stunning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast, a variety to choose from but sadly no restaurant for dinner. The swimming area was nice but the water was very cold but not so the lake the water was lovely and warm. "

"Such a beautiful hotel situated right in the shore front. Parking is easy on lake front car park and it’s a very safe area. No issues at all leaving a convertible overnight. They do have their own car park too. Breakfast was lovely, all the staff very helpful. You cannot get a better location, right next to the boat moorings and several restaurants. The views from the hotel over the lake are fantastic. I’d definitely stay here again. "
