1/5 - Terrible
The council needs to spend more money on this Scottish coastal town. I see lots of coastal towns on the east coast and they are so beautiful. Ardrossan and Saltcoats are so depressing I couldn’t wait to get out.

The staff were excellent and both evening meal and breakfast were 1st class Room was a bit dated and could use a freshen up but the rest more than made up for this

The stay was good. Great staff, excellent location. The hotel is pretty tired though, although I think they are starting a re-fit.

The house was gorgeous, pretty much everything you could need and in an absolutely beautiful location. Got slightly obsessed with the passing ferries.

Lovely cottage just next to the sea. Hiked up goat fell from the house. Ace pub round the corner. Aran ice-cream must be sampled.

Enjoy an outing to Geronimo Sailing Ltd during your stay in Ardrossan. Stroll along the beaches or seek out the golf courses.

This is a ferry port to the isle of Arran, very little in town other than few good restaurants
The only good thing was the beach and ferry terminal..
Great location to travel from. I lived and went to school in the town years ago. Like all smaller towns local businesses are becoming obsolete.
