「This is a very interesting place set in an 18C mansion. The owner is very friendly and gave us a tour of the historic public rooms. The room was huge, very well heated (it’s January) and comfortable. The lovely garden under lemon trees was charming. Nice breakfast served in the sumptuous ballroom.」

「This was a true boutique hotel right on the main strip in Noto. The small number of rooms meant that we felt really well looked-after. 「The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They offered recommendations for the area as well as nearby towns to visit. Many of the staff spoke English very well and the others understood our broken Italian well when we attempted to practice our Italian. My wife has celiac disease and they catered to her gluten free diet for breakfast. We stayed there during her birthday and they presented her with a gluten free walnut and chocolate cake they made themselves and sang happy birthday to her....
