Amazing budget hotel very close to the historic centre and to a lot of good restaurants. Staff very helpful what I liked the most was that they gave me packed light breakfast on those days when I left early for tour and even on the day of check out when I couldn’t wait for their breakfast timings in the hotel. That to me was a real stand out of customer service which I have not seen others do.

The staff was extremely helpful. Don’t get the room #10. Very noisy from the street below all night. If you do make sure you have earplugs. However, it is to be expected considering you are in the middle of a busy city. The hotel is very clean and the roof top patio is very nice and breakfast is great. Did the Colco Canyon two day trek, difficult but amazing. Also the white water rafting. Definitely a must do. So much fun!!!!

Le Foyer is decent and offers useful services for travelers, including tours and laundry. Its best feature is the location: you step outside and you’re already in Arequipa’s historic center, close to cafés, restaurants, and shops. Breakfast was good too, though I’d allow about 30 minutes for your order. A few things to know before booking: shampoo and conditioner aren’t complimentary, though they’re sold at the hotel. There’s nowhere to set your soap inside the shower and it’s a small shower over all. Late at night, the gate was sometimes locked while the night-shift staff took a break, so I had to wait to get in or out. I also asked the front desk for a soup recommendation and was directed to a place that turned out to be in Lima, not Arequipa. The biggest issue was noise, especially on Friday night. I had a balcony room facing a club across the street. Police outside the club blew whistles repeatedly until around 2 a.m. After that, taxis gathered at the intersection, traffic backed up, and drivers honked until around 5 a.m. Other nights were noisy but manageable; Friday night made it very difficult to sleep. The location and breakfast are real positives, but overall my stay was just okay. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d avoid a balcony room facing the street.

Great location. Close to everything Plaza de Armas, shops. Roomy, comfortable bed & pillows. Great breakfast, good wifi connection, hot shower, affordable. Highly recommend.

Our experience was amazing. The hotel was spotless and the receptionists were super friendly. Breakfast was really nice , there were a couple time we needed to leave early and they provided some snacks for the tours . Highly recommend it! We would definitely come back :)

We enjoyed our stay at this well located hotel. There is a nice terrace on the top floor. We had.a two single bed room downstairs. Our only grief is that it was noisy on the weekend until 2 am i think, as it must be close toclubs.

Great place and really nice staff. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the noise coming from the street and the nearby clubs. There were free earplugs in the reception though. Wonderful breakfast bar on the rooftop and really nice cafés in the area.

Was only here for one night, but it was quiet (inside room). Lovely area and would have liked to stay longer. Have to walk up stairs from the street level, but nice inside. Was also gated, so we felt extra safe. We left early and were going to miss breakfast, so they made us bags to take with us. Would recommend this hotel.

We really liked our stay at Le Foyer! It was beautiful, just like the photos! Breakfast was included ( and good) and there was a rooftop where we had a view of the city and could take a drink! The rooms were nice abd clean, the beds confortable! We were well situated! The only downside was the noise on one of the three rooms that we had, we could hear everything, and the place is in a busy street near a bar, so it was busy to sleep!

Very nice place to stay

Very nice place, excellent client service, very kind people, very neat and clean room. Delicious breakfast, and good night atmosphere on the terrace, and very well located, close to Main Square. I arrived before the check in time and they stored my bags for going in a tour. And at the check out same story. They were really helpful and kind.

Malheureusement ce n’est mentionné a nulle part que qques chambres donnent directement derrière un bar à Pisco et il est ouvert à tous les jours donc très très bruyant. Oui il y a une terrasse à chaque chambre mais on ne peut en profiter vraiment. Le lit était vraiment confortable et le personnel très courtois et généreux.
