「From beginning to end this was an amazing experience. Gary is an outstanding host and a all around good person. Property is beautiful. Everything you need and then some. The lake is gorgeous. Awesome fishing and clean water for swimming. The pontoon that comes with the property is great. Its newer and very clean. Flew in from AZ and stayed here a week. I will absolutely be back next summer for a 2 week stay.」

「Loved the location and being able to walk to restaurants. Love the backyard...we sit outside in the sun and read. Stairs were tricky for me...older female with knee problems. Kitchen was beautiful and well stocked for what we needed.」

「Overall this was an amazing stay. We had a great weekend. Just for future renters, the space appears much bigger in the photos than it actually is. But it’s perfect for 2 people. It should also be noted that there is a shared entrance and no doors keep you secure from the owners possibly entering. However, the owners of the main home were not present during our stay so there were no issues. They also left us snacks!」

「The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back.」

「My sister and I were looking for a place we could just relax for Mother's Day weekend and this was the perfect spot. There was a coffee and tea bar complete with different flavored coffees and creamers, snacks, more toiletry options than I have at my own house, smart TVs in many rooms, and a hot tub to relax in. It was very clean, but also welcoming and homey. I definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed, chill getaway. I will be returning in the future.」

「Absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our family. The town is so lovely and our new friends we made at the bowling alley a block away we will never forget. The home had everything you could ask for and the beds were so comfy. We enjoyed listening to records and playing cards. I wish we had more time. Would definitely stay again.」

「This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!」

「My two young daughters (8 & 11) and I loved the house. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). 「The house was perfect for a surprise birthday weekend with friends. It was super clean and comfortable. The table was big enough for all of us for meals and games, the front yard was great for croquet, and the sauna is definitely up to Finnish/Yooper standards. The host was very accomodating. We couldn't stray far from home for one couple whose first child is due in just two weeks, and this property was perfect for a nearby sauna retreat. 10/10 would recommend!」
