"Good location just off the motorway with quick access to central Arles. Fun decorations, comfortable beds, good air conditioning. Easy outdoor parking on site. Staff were excellent. Hotel Spa Le Calendal

Hotel Spa Le Calendal

8/10 Good
"This hotel is in a great location, very close to the Roman amphitheater and other important sites. The location is probably the best thing about the hotel, followed closely by the spa. Our room was facing the large patio where breakfast and lunch was served and we loved the little terrace that came with it. However, the room was pretty noisy especially on the morning of the market when heavy things were dragged outside the room very early in the morning. It was very convenient to have a snack bar available, and we did have the breakfast buffet one day."

"The hotel was renovated beautifully. It was just what you expected to see in Europe. Our room was fine and actually kind of quirky with the upstairs bathroom. I really enjoyed the common areas. The only issue for us was parking which was outside the city center, and quite a hike up to the hotel. Also, there’s no elevator so make sure you’re able to carry your luggage upstairs."

"Great, nicely furnished, quiet and well located hotel … however beware that there is no reception as such and e-keys for hotel door and room must be organised / obtained prior to arrival which was not our case.
