"1. You can park for free from 7 pm to 8 am across the streets to the west and north, and during other times I paid about $2.65 per hour. 2. The pool was a thrill and I thought "the best $25 (resort fee) I ever spent. 3. We were given a coupon for two free drinks in the bar, and got two glasses of wine - filled to the top - I have never seen any place fill a wine glass to the top! 4. The room was a suite, and huge, and they gave us the 9th floor looking south. I could sit on the couch and look out over Forest Park. 5. The bed was super comfortable. 6. We considered the Indigo and another, but for the night we wanted the rate was only maybe $50 more a night, so we splurged for this. 7. On the first floor there is a hallway through the residential building north of this, out to Maryland Place, a fun area to walk, and a guard sits at that door who can sort of watch your car. 8. The business center is just one computer and printer beyond the check in counter and one has to stand to use it, but that was ok. 9. A new building is being constructed across the street to the south, and there is a very low rumble of noise starting around 6:30 a.m., so do be aware of that if you want to sleep later, but it was a very low and distant sound, and only when a truck came in or something, I almost had to strain to hear it. 10. This is one of the Historic Hotels of America, and you can save 15% on the Sonesta website by joining that, but then the rate is the same as on Expedia"
