「This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. 「It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. 」

「They provide washer machine but not the dryer. One of the bathrooms is inside the queen bed room has very heavy smells. Needs to have more ventilation. 」

「This property was an ideal location from which to explore Skye. The property was basic, but very clean and exactly as shown in the listing. It was a very short walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops in Portree.」

「Fabulous place to stay the view is amazing.Lovely cottage with everything you need.Beautiful garden with table and chairs to look at the view.Only negative was noise from the room above that woke me up.」
