Si tratta di un piccolo cottage con arredamento piuttosto vecchio, il bagno in particolare aveva una vasca protetta da una vecchia tenda doccia, nessun piano d’appoggio. E’ scaldato con stufette elettriche, noi siamo arrivati nel pomeriggio ed era freddo. La strada per trovarlo non è facile specialmente di notte. Non adeguato al prezzo pagato

I was suprised when i rented this cottage and its actually kinda like a threeplex. its not the whole place and its very small but good enough for what we needed. there is men that live on each side of the rental property. so when you walk up to the cottage its actually the third door thats the rental. does need updating and a real good clean but like i said it was good enough for one night. if i would have booked for only me i probably wouldn't have stayed. its in the middle of no where.

The accommodation was quiet, private, and had a cozy, cabin-like feel. Having both a washer and dryer was a major plus, especially while traveling. The space is a little older and somewhat cluttered, which made it feel less fresh than some places we have stayed, though it may have been more about the age of the property than the actual cleanliness. The bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs, so that is worth keeping in mind. Overall, it was a peaceful and private place to stay with some very useful amenities.

A quaint property in a quiet place. The Wi-Fi did not really hold and the TV signal was patchy but as we were only there for the night it was not an issue. The shower was great and the bedroom perfect for our needs. The floors could have done with a clean but otherwise it was more than adequate and very peaceful

The colour scheme is a bit of a shock at first but it does grow on you. The kitchen is well appointed but unfortunately no microwave. Because the kitchen/dining area/ lounge are all in one room it is not that easy to relax. The bedroom is up a steep set of stairs and my husband who is quite tall , did have to be extra vigilant getting out of bed to stop himself banging his head on the roof! The bed was very comfortable. A nice cottage .

We had a lovely time. And was so happy to be able to take a bath and relax. Our only issue was small biting gnats that were somehow in the house even though we kept doors and windows closed. But now we know to take spray as we had the same problem at the Dunvegan castle. Just wasn’t something we factored in. This was a nice and quiet space to rest in and we appreciate the hospitality of the host! We would recommend for sure.

It was a really quirky, fun and unique property, and communicating with the host was great. The bed was comfortable, but missing the top sheet. The electrical is weird; the clothes dryer kicked out frequently. Largest complaint with this rental was cleanliness, which was subpar.

Parking was easy , house unfortunately smelled of damp, couldn’t connect to internet, and the neighbours played music loud and late.

Just Be Prepared. The place will grow on you if you stay for more than one day. There are ZERO instructions. You get a lock box code and a message that says which door the day you arrive. Host is slow to respond to messages. There are 3 towels. We washed our own daily to be sure we had some. There are no instructions for the washer or dryer. You will need to google them, because the dryer requires you to empty the lint filter AND a water filter to work and that was new for us. There is no WiFi. They have a router and a code but it never once worked, so make sure you have international data. 3 people max, do not try to fit a kid or pet. The color is horrible, a small effort would make a huge difference, but that is not really important. It is an interesting place, beautiful area and served our needs. If you enjoy camping or glamping, you will be fine. If you are boujie, just stay elsewhere. I would stay again, as the location was authentic, remote, and also a good base for Skye and Applecross. If you are prepared for it being really rustic and color overload, you will be fine. Again, the quirkiness does grow on you.

Quaint rental

Nice place for a night or several; fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedroom. Very secluded ao very quiet and lovely view just outside the cottage.

Quaint and quiet little out of the way spot right near the lake in a secluded village... Comfortable cottage, well appointed with necessary amenities... Sorry driving distance to food options... Only issue we had was with the wifi, we simply could not get the password to work... No big deal... Enjoyed our stay, would recommend...
