“I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the……

“Beautiful place and lovely hosts who were amicable and kind the entire stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“Everything about the cottage was great! It was perfect for our small family. Everything was super clean. The host was very responsive. All of the instructions were easy to follow and we had no issues checking in. It was such a convenient place to stay. We plan to come back!”

“Very nice room and suite clean and accomdating ”

“房間沒有整理，垃圾沒有丟，床沒有鋪，浴室毛巾沒有換； 和前台反應，他說這是house keep的事情。總體言之，我覺得這個飯店的管理非常的不妥善。”

“This is a perfect cabin for a couple’s getaway. Our favorite part was sitting on the back deck in the evenings with the Mountain View and enjoying the stillness and song of nature. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you need!”

“Really the perfect cabin for a quiet getaway. It is absolutely as advertised, super clean, comfortable layout, and communication with the owners couldn’t have been easier. The kids spent plenty of time in the hot tub! Thanks Sarah & Daniel!”

“Loved our time here! It was a clean and beautiful house! The communication with the owner was great. The mountain roads to the house were a little scary. The freezer had 3-4 old fashioned ice trays which were inconvenient if you needed more ice. The refrigerator temperature was so cold that our milk and our pitcher of water was turning into ice. There was some food stuck on the coffee table out at the hot tub area. The hot faucet in one of the bedroom bathrooms needs to be tightened. Everything……

“H'owl at the moon is just what the soul needs! Beautiful nature, peaceful, and quiet. Thank you Bill for opening your home and well maintained property. We had a blast walking the trails and playing in the creek and pond. My husband thinks he is a ring toss champ now! lol We hope we can make this a yearly stop in our travels!”

“Second time staying at this gem! The owner is very responsive and informative! House is super clean, Stocked with items you would normally bring yourself. Will definitely be back! Several Wineries near by, Float the James River, the cute town of Scottsville is 10 minutes away.”

“Clean, well stocked with amenities, excellent communication, ideal location, lovely outdoor features, fairly priced. I would recommend and visit again.”

“We had a great stay on this historic estate! Very clean and cozy studio in the perfect location, in the countryside but close to town, with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. Close to Monticello, Highland, parks, and multiple wineries. Would definitely recommend to couples visiting the Charlottesville area!”

“Good location the house is a bit dated and beds were very uncomfortable. It was clean for the most part. Checkin was easy and the owner is very pet friendly”

“I just needed a place to sleep and access to the stove. Everything worked out and the bed was very comfortable.”

“Stayed here for 1 week the place was gorgeous and it was very modern and well divided. The house is a 10/10 overall just a couple of things that could be better. The house never got under 74ish degrees inside and there isn’t much airflow in the house making it very hard to sleep if you like your room cold at night. We had a bear that kept taking our trash and dragging it all over the yard and into the woods. And besides some small but noticeable details like all the glass in the house need a……

“The cottage was beyond our expectations and we have stayed all over the world. We have even booked again for next year, which we have never done with a property but this place was perfect, relaxing, well equipped and our dog loved it too.We would highly recommend it!”

“The property felt exceptionally clean and inviting. The design of the studio was spacious with amazing finishings. We appreciated the water and coffee. Arrival and departure were communicated clearly. Parking was easy. I also liked that all the light switches were clearly labeled. We would definitely recommend!”
