Lovely cottage in nice countryside area. Good meals to be had at the Royal Oak pub nearby. Plenty of places to visit - Carsington Water, Dovedale, Matlock Peak Rail and many more.

We had such a lovely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage and will definitely return.
We had such a lovely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage and will definitely return. It was a very cold weekend and Christine had very thoughtfully warmed the cottage up for our arrival. Christine went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and I need that recipe for the amazing lemon drizzle cake! Beautiful cottage in a perfect location to explore.

Honeysuckle is a cosy and welcoming cottage.
Honeysuckle is a cosy and welcoming cottage. It has everything we needed for our walking holiday and was beautifully clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful, providing homemade cake and Prosecco which was a wonderful welcome. It's just a few minutes drive from Ashbourne and other lovely walks at Carsington Water and Dovedale. Would definitely recommend to others.

My wife and I spent a long weekend here for our anniversary. It was lovely!
Very cosy but warm and well equipped. The bed was comfy too. It was really nice to be welcomed by having essentials in the fridge and some cake and wine too!
Sadly we didn’t have great weather but we were happy to relax in the cottage.
We would highly recommend this cottage for a couple.

Lovely comfortable cosy cottage. Handy for Ashbourne and surrounding area, and plenty of places to walk and National Trust Properties to look round if the weather is poor.

We had a lovely long weekend in this cosy cottage.
We had a lovely long weekend in this cosy cottage. We were greeted by a generous selection of goodies which had been left out for us, and made us feel welcome. The accommodation was well equipped and very clean. Wendy and her husband were friendly and hospitable, and we had use of a large well maintained garden area with chairs and barbeque. The property is well located for local walks and there are National Trust places to visit close by. Thank you.

The cottage is small, but very well appointed and equipped.
The cottage is small, but very well appointed and equipped. The location is rural and very quiet, yet close to Ashbourne and its shops. The owners live on site and are very welcoming, non intrusive, but quick to respond when needed. We appreciated the welcome pack with wine, cake, butter, marmalade, tea and coffee. Cleaning materials and ample toilet rolls were also provided. There are lovely walks straight from the doorstep and the Rose and Crown pub, only 5 minutes walk away, serve lovely food. There is ample garden space and a barbecue. Sudbury Hall, beautiful Dovedale and the Tissington trail are only a short drive away. We stayed one week, but could have stayed much longer as there is so much to do and see, even if the weather is poor.

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here.
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, a lemon drizzle cake and some hot cross buns, and thanks to the great weather we were able to make great use of the BBQ and kitchen garden. It was a convenient location from which to explore the peaks, and a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day. Extra little perks were the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, good WiFi and a TV with Netflix capability. We recommend visiting Dovedale Stepping Stones, but visit early in the morning, or very late in the afternoon - it was beautiful, but at 4:30pm it was still packed with tourists!
