The guest house was a wonderful space above a double garage with skylights and hugged by tall trees. It was located in a nice quiet hilly neighborhood with easy access to downtown Asheville, UNC-Asheville, good restaurants on Merrimon ST, and a nice greenway. The hosts lived right around the corner, and Helen appeared instantly to give me an orientation.

This is such a warm and cozy place. We had an amazing stay. I would highly recommend!!

Our host went above and bring to make everything work so well for us. She gave us suggestions when asked. I highly recommend this dwelling. There are a lot of steps on the outside to get to the apartment. That did not bother us but may not work for some.

Lovely, sun-filled guest house

I had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, well-appointed and sun-filled guest house. There are sky-lights and large windows throughout the house, which made for wonderful light. The bed was very comfortable with a nice, firm mattress and nice linens. The shower was large and pleasant (with another skylight in the bathroom). The neighborhood is very calm, quiet and pretty, with nice houses and gardens. I also appreciated that there was good food shopping (Whole Foods and Trader Joe's) a short drive or 20-minute walk away, and that Ashelville's lovely downtown district was easily accessible. Helen was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely rent this house again and hope to come back!

Wonderful apartment!

I stayed here for 3 months while completing my final graduate school internship. Helen was extremely helpful; the apartment was beautiful and in a great little neighborhood. My favorite part was all of the natural light (with 3 sunlights and a wall of windows)!
