“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. This is a great location for families looking to maximize ability to hit Peggy’s Cove as well as down to Crescent Beach and……

“We loved the privacy and view of ocean. Loved watching the tide go in and out, that was so amazing. Missed having a sandy beach to walk on. Otherwise , fantastic. Golf course restaurant was amazing as well. ”

“A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“Mahone Bay has such charm and Mahone oasis is set up perfectly for you to get to different areas of Nova Scotia or just to stay and enjoy the views of the bay. It was pleasant, welcoming and comforting. Tracy and Dave have gone out of their way thinking of all the details you need to enjoy your stay. Well located— next to grocery, bike shop other stores and restaurants. We were sorry to leave. The only caveat is there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment, but the view was wonderful. ”

“This cottage is straight out of a movie. Situated in a quaint fishing village on a private property overlooking the rocky coast, it was exactly what I imagined it would be. It is pretty typical to be a little let down once you arrive at a vacation rental because the pictures usually make it look more impressive than it actually is.
