Shower cubicle was bit small But otherwise all good The lady in food hall Daniela and the lady in reception which recommended my the pork sandwich were very kind. Daniela let me eat even though was very early for me to catch my travels. Thanks a lot.

Beautiful views, great location, the staff was helpful at the front desk, and the breakfast staff (lady) was very kind. She made sure we enjoyed fresh pastries. It was a memorable hotel for a lovely visit to Assisi.

Hotel room was spacious (& that’s hard to find in Italy!). Staff was friendly & helpful. Dinner at the hotel was AMAZING. we had hoped to do laundry at the hotel, but was unable to do so-more info on the website on laundry hours would be super helpful.

We stayed at the property in 2019 and we chose to stay again and I would stay again. The location is great and parking is available. However the rooms this time had no windows. We did ok as we only spent 6 hours in the room. However for a longer stay I would refuse those rooms .

This is not a 4* hotel. I've never left a review, as I tend to get it right with my picks. I've travelled extensively, staying in hostels to 5* hotels, but..1)Not able to control our AC; controls were there, but the buttons were removed. Our key, once in its slot, turned the lights & AC on, but the AC quickly turned itself off after a few mins. Had to ring reception several times to turn it on. Told it was off to give the AC a " break". Call it what you want; we didn't pay to stay in a sweat box. Couldn't move in the room w/o sweating. After a while, the AC would again be turned off.2)Shower head held up by tape, which didn't stay up & became a tap.3)Various outlets in the room weren't working.4)Breakfast was a poor standard, for a food region such as this expected a greater selection of cheeses, hams, & olives (none available). The fruit was not fresh, & the drinking water warm.5)Asked to come at a set time for breakfast due to COVID - no issue with this, but then I would have preferred not to have seen the waitress place the cheese slices by hand (no fork or gloves) on to the serving plate.6)Informed on check out that we had to pay for the water in our room, no sign indicating this beforehand - I've no problem paying for water if I'm aware I'm "purchasing" it. Found this very underhanded.7)As a gold member, I was due a complimentary drink on arrival, but nothing was offered.Details matter & to call yourself a 4* hotel, I expected quality, which is severely lacking here.

An interesting former palace with spectacular views over the Umbrian countryside. The hotel was perfectly located on one of the main historic roads yet was quiet. Very easy walkable access to all major sites. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh honeycomb, delicious cheeses, fresh fruit and cake and the usual hot options.We highly recommend and would stay again.

Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value.
