“We wanted a relaxing holiday, somewhere peaceful, and this villa ticked all the boxes. Clearly furnished with love, equipped with everything you need (a coffee machine AND coffee pods!), a beautiful pool, and an amazing view over to Assisi.The owners were welcoming, and Daniela was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Assisi isn't really within walking distance, but Daniela recommended a great driver, and there are some pretty villages and towns not too far away.”

“Beautiful villa secluded from the closest town so that it felt private but close enough to the beautiful villages of Umbria. We were a group of 14 and it felt spacious. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain but we cosied up in the fireplace and still had dinner outside under the covered outside eating area. You could call up the related resort on the landline at anytime if you were missing anything and they were very helpful. I also used the concierge service to have wine delivered to the villa and……

“I’m factoring in price, location, the house and the area for this review and I’ve considered heavily that this villa is very inexpensive compared to others. The views and property are amazing, I’ve stayed in $3000 a week villas that didn’t have as good of a view as here. The area is also amazing, all of the roads and towns surrounding the villa are great, no industrial parks, minimal billboards, lots of local businesses etc.. everything you’d expect from an Italian countryside. Most hilltop……

“We spent a wonderful week at Domus Clara! The communication with Luisa was very easy and she always responded right away. The house is lovely with everything you would need for your stay. It is centrally located so easy to visit various towns and villages in Umbria each day. The layout of the house was great for our family of 3 with our daughter having her own en suite room. But it is really the outside spaces that make this home awesome! It was very hot during our visit and the pool was great……
