“The pre check in process is impossible to navigate on a mobile phone, thankfully the host helped at the last minute with the door access details. My room was booked as a double bed, it had 2 single beds, which is not great considering my height. “Check-in procedure was a nightmare. After an hour of trying and failing to make the self-check in work, I was lucky to see an employee of the hotel and banged on a window to get their attention, or I might have been sleeping in my car that night. Hotel is down a dirt road past a junk yard and seemed really sketchy. Absolutely terrible experience - stay away!”

“The apartment is located on the edge of Johanisberg allowing easy access for walks in the surrounding vineyard. Many restaurants are in easy walking distance including the 2 restaurants at the Burg Schwarzenstein.
The apartment is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is very pleasant to sit on in and enjoy the view. If it is too cold there is a large window which you can look out from the dining area. ”
