nice one, we will come again
the location is not good, far away from the city center, but they have shuttle bus on the schedule, you can check it first, the room was very nice, and they have a very nice infinite swimming pool, we like it so much, just near the Nile.

one of the best in Aswan
it is an old hotel and located on an Isis Island, they have motor boat every 15minutes, very esay for the guest to go to the main land Aswan. but when we were there, may be we were coming there in the peak season, so only one of it's swimming pool was open, and I book the Nile view room(actually they said all the room can see the Nile), but really it depands, our room was at the first floor, what we saw is just the trees outside. but it's not a big problem, the stuff was very nice they speak very good English. but the dinner buffet was not good! you should improve it, we went to Movenpik to take our dinner everyday

Horrible experience… Avoid this hotel.
Terrible experience. The hotel is in ruins. The rooms are dirty, bed full of bugs, we got a rash in the morning. The bathrooms full of mold, and hot water not working properly. The AC was not working, and the bathroom lights did not even turn on.

The hotel is excellent in many ways. The location is very very unique. Great place and great service. One thing that needs work is the room cleaning. The dust inder the bed speaks of months without cleaning. Other than that I have no criticism

Staff is overall friendly with various English skills. The hotel looks pretty nice from the outside but the rooms are not compatible to the exterior look. We paid $500 USD in total for 2 nights of a triple room in December. Triple room = 2 twin beds 1 rollaway bed. Mattress quality is similar to those used in motels in the States. None of the machines in the fitness center works. Bathroom door of our room is not closable and room door is very difficult to close. I do miss Cairo Hilton Pyramid Golf, where I paid less with better quality on everything.

Such a nightmare. Only the facade looks beautiful. The rooms are run down and so dirty. How could Expedia even be listing this hotel as 5 star? Tables broken and floors so dusty. I’m afraid there might even be bed bugs. Have spoken to the reception and they can’t be bothered. That’s how bad the service is.

Outside of the property looks very nice as you approach from taxi boat to the hotel. But inside could use an upgrade. Definitely still old fashion inside with all the furniture stuff. Tall, bold male and older looking receptionist staff had a misogynist attitude. Did not respond to me but would make eye contact to my husband when he did not even make the reservation and ask only him questions about reservation. Gave my husband the keys and did not acknowledge me until I had to raise my voice and ask for our passports and wifi access which was terrible. Would not be back.

I booked a deluxe with king bed and view of the Nile. The room initially given to me was unsafe: the front door did not lock (flimsy, could be pushed open, chainlink broken) and the door to the balcony did not lock. We were reassigned to a room where the locks worked, but with twin beds and not looking at the Nile. The bidet did not work. The shower was terrible: the shower head rotated everywhere getting the ceiling, the floors, the walls all wet. We diverted the water to the faucet, but the showerhead did not work anymore and had to kneel to wash our hair. The water pressure and temperature fluctuated; the tub/shower was clogged. The bathroom was not very clean (fungus growing on the tile). The property was in disrepair and it was dated. Presumably, this is a 5-star hotel, but it is not (more likely 3 stars).

Sorry, but the hotel in general is not clean. Our bathroom was absolutely dirty and unacceptable ( Room 542)! We were absolutley shocked. My husband and I did‘t use it the two days, we stayed there. We used the bathroom of our daughter in Room 446.

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews from guests, they really must have had a very bad experience to give that opinion, in my case the experience was very good, the staff was attentive and helpful and the facilities and location were very good, totally recommended, The only thing I would recommend to the administration is to improve the quality of the Wi-Fi, which for very basic use works but is slow. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

The property was adequate for us as we were checking in late and departing early the next morning. When I booked I did not realize that the only way to the property was by boat. This made it very inconvenient. We were hungry as we got in at 10pm and the hotel had very limited food options and because you have to take the boat back to the town we really couldn’t go to any of the places still open in town. The food was okay but definitely not high quality. The property was very dated and old. The doors and wood were scratched up and the bathroom had a weird half glass door which meant some water sprayed outside the shower. They also still use physical keys with a giant hanging tag that has your room number. Not really the safest thing. I did find the staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was decent but nothing to write home about. All in all if you are looking for a place that is modest and you want to relax in isolation on an island it’s not bad. But if you want to tour around Aswan and explore the city this is not the place.

mostly dissapointing
This is NOT a 5-star hotel! Maybe it was the inauguration day, 50 yr ago. I will say, today, barely a 2 star. Premises definitely showing the aging and lack of proper maintenance. Example: fiberglass bathtub patched and patch blistered and cracked. I booked a room with king bed. they gave me one with 2 beds. Came down and complained, then got what i asked for. Changed some dollars for egyptian pounds. The first time was Ok (a new $50 bill). Second time: "we can change you only $20 US", the catch is, you need to give them freshly mint bills, not a single scratch. needless to say i didnt change anything. now, heading back home with all my "unacceptable" bills. Dinner buffet was ok as well as breakfast, but again, not what you will expect at a 5 stars hotel... Location con: you have to take a ferry running erratic times, allow yourself plenty of time to cross the river and grab your ride.

The location is great and being on its own island is very charming. You take a small boat to it. The grounds are very nice and the pool is great. Unfortunately the rooms are very tired and dated. The beds and sheets are old, the flooring is cheap and the bathrooms are poor. Its a shame because the setting of the hotel is great.

I had them change our rooms 2 times. All rooms presented to us were in terrible condition and very dirty; I'm talking about dust and hair on the floor and in the bathroom. We settled in a room because we were just extremely tired from a long travel after they double cleaned the last one. Hotel is in a great location, but staff and manager are extremely unprofessional and rude. Hotel property is in a bad condition and hasn't been maintained for a while. Amenities are old, unmaintained and outdated.

The experience, in general was good; the only thing that was uncomfortable for me was that the WIFI is only available in the lobby area and poor quality, less than 3mb. Additionally it was difficult to find the gym, because is inside the SPA and it's in poor condition

We reserved a room with a King size bed and we got 3 twin beds. We reserved a non smoking room and there was an ashtray in the room and the room smelled of smoke. The room/floors/sheets/towels were either dirty or needed replacing! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Die Gesamtanlage ist sehr schön und großzügig angelegt. Auf einer eigenen Nilinsel mit gutem Bootsservice. Mein Zimmer war geräumig, mit Balkon. Der Service und das ganze Personal waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, frisch, nahrhaft und wohlschmeckend. Die Dauerberieselung mit Musik kann Nachts etwas störend sein. Das Hotel ist recht hellhörig. Das hoteleigene WLAN ist nicht sehr leistungsstark und auch nicht immer stabil.

Unable to reach anyone at hotel- neither from outside hotel of inside hotel. Rooms are spread across- one porter for more than 200 guests. Guests had to wait in line for long in breakfast- almost 20-39 mts to get omelette Have to take ferry to teach hotel.

El personal es amable e intenta remediar los detalles de la habitación pero esto lo hace incómodo tener a personas reparando cosas durante tu estancia . Fugas de agua , enchufes inservibles y el estado en general viejo de las habitaciones . Las áreas comunes bastante bien . Room service correcto y el traslado de la isla a la ciudad sin costo.
