"Very long, slow line to check in. Room with 1 king bed was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but clean. Bed comfort was average. Tub faucet was leaking with a steady flow that was loud. Not a drip, a steady flow. Maintenance claims "all the faucets leak". The shower head was powerful, but hot and cold came from two different faucets and it was either scalding hot or ice cold. It would also change temperature on it's own. So you are under the water and it goes hotter or colder on its own, makes for a very unpleasant shower. Impossible to sit on the toilet without hitting your arm on the counter. Very tight corner and my arm is bruised from hitting it almost every time. AC cannot go below 65 and room never got below 68, it was not cool enough. We threw our dirty clothes on the bottom of the closet floor and when we picked them up to pack, they were SOAKING wet. No idea how the closet floor got so wet that it seeped into our clothes. Soaking wet, not damp. And the clothes smelled musty from the water that was on the floor. There was no remote for the TV. There were coffee pods, but no coffee maker in the room. The room was clean and valet parking at $52 per night was expensive, but they were efficient. 100% would not stay here again. The Menger's attitude is, "We're an old hotel, this is the best we can do." At $250 per night, plus $52 per night parking, I expected so much better. Absolutely the worst hotel I've booked through Hotels.com and easily the most expensive."
