Adorable Lakefront Cottage perfect for Families & Fishermen - Lake Athens

Looking for a place to stay and play? This water-front property with large yard and boat dock/lift is perfect for families who want to have fun on the lake, or recreational/professional anglers going after the big catch.

This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Master bedroom has a full size bed (lake view and access to large deck), second bedroom has 7 foot long twin beds. Each bedroom has a flat screen television. Fully supplied kitchen (except dishwasher) with dining for 6. Living area is fully furnished with large flat screen TV and lake view (internet and satellite provided). You can add 2 for sleeping on couches or bring your own air mattresses. All linens & Towels provided.

Enjoy your mornings with coffee on the front deck, or evenings on the lake dock enjoying the relaxing sunsets and stargazing (professional fireworks display can be seen from the property over the 4th of July holiday). Fire pit available for smores, and large outdoor grill/smoker for outdoor cooking. Yard is spacious enough to play volleyball, badminton or horseshoes, so bring your outdoor games!

This property has 100 feet of lake front for swimming with a private boat dock. So bring your boat for fishing or water fun! We provide kayaks, swim ladders and boat lift for your boat.

Property is also fenced around the house for young children as well as your family pups.

Lake Athens has a nice Marina that you can drive to by boat or vehicle. You can launch your boat from there to drive it to our boat lift. In addition, they have a nice restaurant for dinner, and bait shop that also sells breakfast and lunch. Visit the nearby Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, Zipline Adventures, or drive 10 minutes to Athens for shopping, groceries, restaurants and a movie theatre. Lake Athens is 20 minutes from Tyler that provides many choices for shopping, eating, movies and such.
