Great location for University (UGA) and Sanford Stadium events

This was the perfect location for a stay in Athens for a small family gathering that my husband and I hosted with our adult children so they could attend their first Homecoming Weekend for UGA as Alumni. It is a fairly easy walk from this home up Broad Street to all the downtown shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as walkable (albeit a sort of long walk - 1.3 miles) to Sanford Stadium if you area attending a game at the stadium and don't have a parking pass. The home appears to be practically brand new and it very comfortably accommodated our group of six (3 couples). The bedrooms were generous in size (each with a nice queen size bed) and the two bathrooms met our needs well. The downstairs living space was appointed simply but nicely and accommodated 6 people fine but it is on the smallish side, which didn't matter much to us since we were out and about most of the weekend any way. The kitchen is modern and provides all the essentials you need to cook and dine at home if that is what you want to do. There is a nice patio off the rear of the home that is furnished with a patio table and 6 chairs so that you can enjoy that area when the weather is nice. We highly recommend this property and would return to it again in the future.
