Apartment was as described. Good quality kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Area is quiet and safe, around 15 minute walk to the historic centre. Yannis was very easy to communicate with and flexible about leaving our luggage in the apartment on departure day. Would recommend.

After having our hotel reservations cancelled we were scrambling to find a new place to stay. We found this listing and it was a perfect solution and in hindsight we are glad our hotel got cancelled because this was so much better! It is located in a central location with makes getting around great! Highly recommend using their shuttle service which was so easy and made not having to worry about finding the place. The apt was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely rebook here again.

Excellent location! Beautiful, comfortable home for our family of 6. Safe neighborhood. Easy walk to everything you want. The owner is very kind, great communication. We paid for the driver to pick us up at the airport and to take us to the ferry port. It was absolutely worth it, and he is very nice as well.

Surprisingly Perfect!

Great part of town felt extremely safe and the house was great. We were able to walk into the "heart" of Athens in about 5 minutes and the showers, kitchen, rooms were as described. We used this more as a hotel versus a house but would stay again.

We just had a very nice stay at the apartment. It looks just like the pictures-very clean and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet but an easy walk to the monuments. We took the airport shuttle that Yannis arranged and the driver was great and checked us in. Great experience!

Our experience with Ma Maison was excellent. Great communication from start to finish. The apartment was impeccably clean with plenty of space for our family of 6. In addition to being conveniently located to the popular sights, we enjoyed the close proximity to a couple close restaurants and cafes in the local neighborhood. 5 stars, highly recommended.

Absolutely outstanding accomodations

Extremely comfortable accommodations, full kitchen, very tastefully appointed and very nice bathrooms with a great shower in the main bathroom. Location is amazing in the Mets area of Athens, very close to the Acropolis and great restaurants and nightlife. I can’t say enough good things about Yannis and his driver Tolis. They arranged tours for us and communicated constantly with us. We unfortunately had a backpack stolen on one excursion that included our passports. Yannis helped us immensely in getting to the Embassy to get new passports. I’m am grateful to Yannis and Tolis for all their help and expert hospitality. We will definitely stay at MaMaison again!

Perfect flat for Athens!

We had the BEST time in Athens, largely because of this amazing flat & Tolis! He picked up most of our party from the airport at noon & helped us with our bags. Then, he went back to the airport at 2AM to pick up our remaining family and helped them with their bags. On our departure day, he picked up our bags in the flat that morning while we were on a tour, then found us at tour's end point across town & took us back to the airport in rush-hour traffic. Wow! He was SO nice, flexible, friendly & helpful. We consider him a new friend in Greece & are incredibly grateful for all his efforts to help us navigate a new country. The flat was perfect! Kitchen had great accouterments & they even surprised us with a bottle of wine. :) Views of several historical places right outside our window were fantastic! There's a new archeological dig directly under the window. We appreciated the mere few-minute walk to 2 grocery marts & tasty local restaurants (not tourist ones). It's just a 10minute walk to tons of stores, restaurants, large park, etc. The location could not have been better & we said that often to each other. Quiet, safe, & residential, but so close to all the action. Loved having a washer/dryer, full-size fridge/freezer in unit. Alarm system & modern locks let us enjoy our time outside the flat w/o any concern. Clean, well-stocked w/towels, etc, & perfect location! Loved it! Comms w/host was fast & super helpful throughout entire time! We would absolutely stay here again.

Even better than advertised!

If you are worried that the listing for Ma Maison No 6 is too good to be true, have no fear. If anything, the property is BETTER than its listing shows. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, well decorated, and exactly what we hoped for. Most importantly, it was very clean, with little doubt to that state. The location was the big surprise, for someone not familiar to Athens prior to this trip. It was very close to the Temple of Zeus, Olympic Stadium, and the National Gardens. And not much more of a walk to Acropolis, Plaka and Syntagma Square. I’m sure there are even more sites within easy travels, but those were the ones that we hit in our 2 days in Athens. Additionally, it was only a block or two away from local restaurants (tourist friendly without being tourist traps), a supermarket and the trolly system. The host was fantastic. He arranged for transportation both coming and going for us and his driver was fantastic. Frequent check-ins to make sure everything was okay with the apartment and also local information for restaurant recommendations and activities to do. We did not really cook while on site, but did enough in the kitchen to know that it was fully equipped with anything that you would need for meal time. We did utilize the washing machine for our clothes. The air conditioning systems in each room worked very well and were easy to work with. In summary, this was a fantastic property. My only regret is that we had such a short stay.

Great location

The property manager was very responsive and the property was well appointed. The neighborhood was just outside the touristy zone so we found some nice local eats. We walked to a number of the tourist locations or to get public transportation. Athens can be hilly so you will need to be able to navigate them if you plan on walking to/from this accommodation. I would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay! The place was as nice as described. There was plenty of space and very clean. Just a note, the washer also can do some drying, but the drying rack provided helped finish drying everything. We loved the neighborhood, out of the way but close to everything. I would stay there again!

This host went above and beyond to ensure i had a great stay, providing recommendations, and ALWAYS making me feel welcome and comfortable. The apartment is modern, beautiful, and cozy, exactly as pictured. Plus, the view! Wow. The neighborhood (Mets) is authentic and very enjoyable, away from busy traffic and tourism, with good groceries and food options within 5 minutes’ walk. Dreamy place

I had a wonderful stay at the dreamy Ma Maison No6! Clean, classy, and with an awesome view of the Acropolis from the balcony! I really appreciated how our hosts checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect. Very safe building with high tech locks and tucked away on top of a hill. SUPER comfy mattresses! High ceilings and quiet. Be sure to explore the lovely little neighborhood down the left staircase - highly recommend La Nonna for excellent pizza, salad, calzones, & drinks. We also loved going to the playground by the National Gardens (about 7 minutes by stroller route) - awesome shaded park with great age ranges of activities! So thankful for a wonderful stay!!! I will definitely come again!
