The staff were all very kind and helpful. The breakfast spread was amazing! A little bit of everything and some local pastries to try. Within walking distance of the many things you will want to see in Athens. The bakery at the end of the block made the whole neighborhood smell like cinnamon rolls!

This tiny hole in the wall hotel, is the cutest place on earth. I’ve travelled a lot and never have seen a small hotel like this that has everything you need. The breakfast was also great. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was 5 of us travelling and we would love to come back again

A great hotel, located in the best spot for seeing ancient ruins and accessing shopping and dining options! The room was extremely comfortable, and the front desk was 24/7 which turned out to be super helpful since our flight got delayed! Just make sure to select the right address if traveling by Uber, don't type home sweet home or you'll end up in the Greek countryside. Also they had breakfast included which as a nice touch! And the most comfortable pillows in all of Athens! Honestly this should be rated higher than a 1 star hotel.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Even the person at the front desk on the day we arrived made sure that a taxi didn’t refuse to take card payment and also ensured we were not overcharged beyond the regular daytime fare. They also prepared a breakfast to go for us since our flight was very early, and even lent us chargers that fit European type. You truly feel like you’re at a home away from home in this hotel! Is like home sweet home totally

This hotel was perfect! The staff were SUPER friendly, the breakfast spread was FANTASTIC every morning, it was centrally located and incredible for walking around Athens, and our room was extremely clean! As a bonus, our room was ready early when we landed super early from our flight, and they held our bags for us after check-out so we could explore the city some more before our flight later in the day. We would totally stay here again! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Wonderful stay—highly recommended! This property is situated in the heart of the historic district, with all major attractions within walking distance. The staff at the reception and breakfast, as well as the manager, are warm, friendly, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. The interior is beautiful, featuring high ceilings, and the breakfast is delightful. Our last-minute booking turned out to be a great choice! Best wishes to everyone involved. A return to Athens and Sweet Home

This was a return visit for us, and we were well pleased with our short stay. We find the location to be favorable for walking tours of the Plaka, and other nearby areas of Athens. The staff is always friendly and helpful, whether offering guidance for touring, exploring dining options, or assisting in arranging taxi or shuttle services. The breakfast has tempting options. Our room was comfortable, clean, and looked nice.

I stayed for three nights at the Sweet Home Hotel. The location is excellent: only a 5 min walk from Syntagma Metro Station. You have all important places in Walking distance. Restaurants are nearby. Already at Check In I was warmly welcomed. Tina supported me with all my special requests. The breakfast was excellent: Everything was homemade. My room (101 Basic Room) was small but comfortable and clean. A little less daylight fell in. There was only the outside air condition the disturbed me during the night. It is placed next to the window.

This is the absolute gem of a place. All the major attractions are within 15-20 minutes walking distance. Their staff is so nice and caring. They also clean your room everyday. I would love to recommend this place to everyone. Worth your money.
