I love the fact it was inside the Stone Mountain Park. The scenery was beautiful. The ability to work the trails was amazing. The staff were very friendly. And the hotel itself was very clean and well kept. However, it did not appear the hotel provides daily room cleanings. Also, For such a large property, the placement of the ice machines should be reconsidered. There was only one ice machine on the floor, however, the hotel is somewhat designed into wings. We were on the mid to far end of what I call the left wing but the only ice machine was about halfway down on the right wing. There are signs pointing in the direction of the ice machine once you get off the elevators, but if you somehow miss it, you’re out of luck. Well, I will say, there are phones stationed at the end of each break in the long hallways. The ice machine placement was about the only thing that I saw which did not make too much sense. Some of the fixings around the hotel could come into the 21st century, but hey, they all worked, so I guess that’s just me being picky. All in all it is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, and would happily return.

This is the worst, most ghetto experience ive ever had staying at a marriott hotel. I've been staying at marriott hotels all my life, my mother retired for marriott. I havent been to Evergreen in a couple years, so I decided to spend mothers day here. Horrible. My mothers day is ruined. SO FOR $200 a night, Front desk staff is super ghetto and unprofessional. Elevator on 3rd floor doesnt work, have to go up and go for ride, to go down... smh ...Ac in the room does not work and its locked so you cant change the temp. Fridge doesnt get cold. Balcony is covered in spider webs, cant even sit back there. Inside pool and hot tub out of order. Outside pool and hot tubs packed with kids splashing & jumping. Came in to shower, no soap in the shower. Called front desk twice placed on hold, they never came back. Decided to eat dinner here, prices are outrageous. $20 for a chicken sandwich. This whole experience has been terrible. I need a refund. NEVER AGAIN . This place had went to hell and its sad. I have so many good memories here

The fees! Paid $20 for parking at gate then charged $70 in fees which included parking. $29 for breaksfast which would have been ok but it was buffet and horrible. The staff was nice. Elevator were not working properly and covers werent on the controls. The room was nice but 5 hangers for guests and no drawers to for clothes. Bathtub was not updated and needed to be cleaned. Dogs barked all night. Inside pool hadnt been cleaned and hot tub closed.

The property overall was nice. This was my 3rd anniversary and I thought this would be a nice, relaxing enjoyable trip. Eddie Murphy was filming at the resort so certain areas were closed off throughout the day. We were not notified any filming was taking place. The police redirected me to go another way to come back in the resort and I was lost for over an hour. I was so frustrated. Also all of the attractions were closed and it was not on the website. So we were not able to ride the sky ride or the train. The view from our room was nice and relaxing. The staff were nice. I would’ve liked some type of compensation for the inconvenience but all I received was an apology.

The surroundings are beautiful, all the nature and trails are great. The hotel itself is not all the best. Staff is ok, not very welcoming but they tried to be friendly. The rooms are outdated and seems like they needed to be dusted. There were dead bugs in the bathroom.

This hotel is extremely average and, in some respects, below average. The bathtub drained extremely slowly which makes for a gross showering experience. The staff is friendly but not overly helpful or knowledgeable. Dining options are very limited (we were there in February so that may be the reason). Rooms are decent but showing some ware. The halls had a strange smell to them. Indoor pool was nice but hot tub was not operational (again the season). It was very safe and quiet (one in our party had a neighbor playing loud music late). I would stay there again but it’s not a four or five star experience.

Good hotel, POOR Customer Service
The hotel presents well, good infrastructure, beautiful view. Unfortunately the service at the check in was very poor. The check in was late, the ladies who checked me in had terrible attitude and it was uncomfortable to attempt to approach her with questions. The same bad service in the indoor Starbuck, the customer service is truly very poor and does not match the Hotel standards.

They charge a resort fee that is not justified. The Marriott that ran it for years never charged a resort fee of $35. You already pay to come into the Stone Mtn park. The breakfast is $30 per person, but you are getting what they serve at Days Inn for breakfast. Not a very good value for your money. The pool did not have pool towels and the indoor jacuzzy not working.

It was just okay. The resort is a little out dated. No wash clothes in room. Only hand towels and then not enough towels for everyone to bath. The menu in the restaurant was very slim. I could have eaten better quality for better price elsewhere. The room was hot and wouldn’t cool down

Service was great but that's the only good part. What kind of a resort doesn't have a restaurant or bar open until at least 11pm? We got in a little past 10pm and had to order delivery because NOTHING was open on property for food or drinks. The room was extremely plain. No microwave, no shelves in the shower or bathroom for your things or the towels. All the towels were in the closet.

This property is on Stone Mountain park so has many resources. It has the potential for being an amazing resort. However, it is short staffed with unhelpful staff. There were many dogs in the dog rooms who were left by their owners and barked all day. The dog area was on a cliff and covered in trash. The indoor pool was closed and only the bar was open in the evening for food. No maid service period. I can’t believe how much I paid for this stay.
