"The cabin was cute and comfortable and all we expected and more. We loved having the marsh right outside. Having a full wall of windows facing the lake made bird watching and sunrises amazing! Without even leaving the cabin, we saw sandhill crane, swans, ducks and geese, great egrets, red headed woodpeckers, kingfishers and several types of sparrows. Once outside we added a bald eagle to our list. Wonderful place to call home for a few days. We didn'e end up taking the kayaks out, but they and the gear looked great. Maybe next time (if it ever warms up!) We really, really emjoyed our stay and will likely go back."
