「This was a wonderful location for our family and dog to stay. The home was beautiful and the beach was lovely as well. It is quite a hike to the beach but there was a handy wagon there for our stay that we used to take things out to the beach. 」

「Recently renovated and very well done, this house has everything you need for an "up north" getaway. Plenty of great views and lake access, along with room for our off-road vehicles (3) in the massive driveway. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway in the Secord, Gladwin, Houghton areas. 」

「Beautiful home, very clean, nicely appointed. Lot is large and private (except for kayakers and tubers on Saturday, which is fun and welcome). We have stayed here twice and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.」

「Very nice house in walking distance of downtown East Tawas. Great fenced-in backyard that our dog loved running around in. Plenty of space and comfort that put it several steps above an up-north "cabin" and made it feel a bit more like home. Host was very responsive and communicated quickly and clearly. 」

「A quaint and lovely cottage/home with beautiful flowers in the yard from which amazing scents drifted in the open windows as I drank my morning coffee and read my book on the screened in porch. Everything was very clean and cozy. So relaxing. We were very near many things, the beach and pier, restaurants (don’t miss Beachy’s), stores and then walk to the DQ for an evening treat. We will definitely return. 」

「We thought we had the most comfortable bed at home but we found this property has the GOAT of beds. I need one now. Erin is super nice and helpful, she brought us a freshly washed blanket and a home made bath soap that smelled divine! Soft towels that actually wrap around the body, clean and comfortable linens.Beach towels that were better than the one we have.The apartment was so clean and I know clean. We plan to stay here on a regular basis when in Tawas for our sailboat.」
