Great views and hosts

If you like waking up to a view of horses and cattle grazing, this is your place. Very peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were more than accomodating and really nice people. Area has outdoor options for hiking, horse back riding, and there seem to be a lot of wedding/special event venues close by too.

We have fallen in Love with the Bunkhouse!!!! It has become our favorite and only place to stay when we visit our son and daughter in law! The Bunkhouse is beautiful and we love the scenery, horses and longhorns! Julie is the best and makes you feel welcome and at home! Our dog Luna loves it too!

This bunk house is perfect. My daughters loved the rustic decor, feeding the horses and watching the long horns. It was the perfect spring break for me and my girls with plenty of space . It’s close to the ray Robert lake for an afternoon picnic and the tulip ranch for flowers and photos.

Fun Family Getaway

The bunkhouse was very clean and homey. Nice picnic table, fire pit, and grill in the backyard to hangout in the evening. Our 2 year old loved getting to watch/pet the horses over the fence and see the cows at the surrounding properties. Had a fun time visiting nearby Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Western Son Distillery, Sharkosa Zoo, and Union Bear Brewing when we weren't at the property.

The Bunkhouse was perfect! The home is clean and spacious. Check in was spot on and issue free. The area is quiet and peaceful. Communication with Julie was easy and always helpful! I would definitely recommend a stay here and will stay here again if it's available when we come to the Dallas area.

XO marriage get away

We stayed here for our XO marriage conference in Grapevine. Not a far drive in our opinion, and well worth the stay. The home had such a warm and cozy feel with a modern feel. Will be back for sure. Bunkhouse stay

We stayed at the bunkhouse for over a week. We really enjoyed our stay. The home was well appointed with everything needed for our stay. The home is far enough away from the hustle of Dallas and Fort Worth yet close enough where you can jump to the city for site seeing. Restaurants are within a 10 minute drive as well as grocery stores or retail. The beds were comfortable. The owners are very nice and do not interfere with your stay. The property is secure and behind a gate so no worries of folks messing with you. Definitely recommend staying.

My favorite weekend getaway EVER

My hubby and I have stayed at many VRBO’s all across the country. This is my favorite by far. It is so thoughtfully laid out and spotlessly clean. We loved being right next to horses and cattle on this working ranch—I just can’t tell you how peaceful the bunkhouse is! I wish we could move in and stay forever. Everything You Could Ask For and More

The "bunkhouse" was fully furnished. And when I say fully, I cannot think of one thing that I might have needed, and not provided. The location was so peaceful. Far enough away from heavy traffic and such, but close enough to civilization to enjoy the areas amenities. Although it was just my husband and I staying overnight, we had several friends and family members in the area to come out and visit for the afternoon. It accommodated our large group easily and all were impressed with the amenities and location. A big thanks to our Hosts!
