Elevated above Ostend with views across Palm Beach, Crescent Villa is a spacious period home with five bedrooms across the main house and separate sleepout, a private hot tub, wide wraparound verandas and parking for up to four vehicles. The Space:

Crescent Villa is a spacious period home set in an elevated, leafy position with views across Palm Beach and the surrounding coastline. High ceilings, polished timber floors, traditional detailing and wide verandas give the house plenty of character, while five bedrooms across the main house and separate sleepout provide good flexibility for families or groups.



The layout reflects the home’s period style, with the main living areas arranged as separate rooms rather than one open-plan space. The kitchen is its own room and is well equipped for holiday stays and everyday cooking. The dining room leads off the kitchen, creating a dedicated space for shared meals. The lounge is located in its own room at the front of the property with a fireplace adding warmth and atmosphere during cooler stays and also has ducked air-conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable all year round.



Four bedrooms are located in the main house. Three have queen beds, while the fourth has a super king bed that can be split into two singles on request. Two family bathrooms serve the main house, and both include a bath and shower.



A fifth bedroom is located in the separate sleepout. It has a queen bed and its own external access, giving guests additional privacy and flexibility. The sleepout does not have its own bathroom, so guests staying here use the bathrooms in the main house.



Outdoor living is one of Crescent Villa’s strongest features. The wide verandas provide multiple places to relax outside, with leafy surroundings and views towards Palm Beach. The private hot tub offers another place to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring the island, while the BBQ makes outdoor meals easy. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after beach days.



With five bedrooms across the main house and sleepout, two bathrooms, generous shared living areas, a hot tub and substantial outdoor space, Crescent Villa works particularly well for larger families or groups wanting a character home in a central Waiheke location.

Guest Access:

Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is 10.30 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee; this depends on other bookings, and we’ll confirm closer to your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Crescent Villa sits in Ostend in an elevated, leafy setting overlooking Palm Beach. This central location makes it easy to move between beaches, cafés, vineyards, and village hubs without long drive times.



Palm Beach is one of Waiheke’s most popular swimming beaches and is well suited to relaxed mornings by the sea. Arcadia and the Palm Beach Store sit just behind the sand and are easy options for coffee, breakfast, or casual dinners.



Onetangi Beach is only a short drive away and offers a long stretch of sand lined with beachfront cafés and nearby vineyards, making it a popular spot for extended beach days and long lunches.



Ostend itself is close by and works as a practical hub, with supermarkets, casual eateries, and the popular Saturday market. Oneroa Village is around ten minutes away and provides boutiques, galleries, bakeries, and dining options.



For guests wanting to explore, Waiheke Zipline Adventure Park is also nearby and offers a scenic way to see the island from above, set among native bush with coastal views.



Getting Around:

The nearest bus stop is walkable from the villa on the main Palm Beach and Ostend route. Buses run regularly from Palm Beach and Ostend, continuing through Vineyard Valley and stopping near well known wineries including Stonyridge, Tantalus Estate, and Te Motu, before travelling on to Oneroa Village and the passenger ferry terminal at Matiatia.



The Heke is also nearby and is a popular stop for wood fired dishes, craft beer, and a relaxed garden bar.



Taxi services operate year round, though availability and pricing can vary during busy periods. Walking tracks in the area link beaches, bush reserves, and vineyard areas for guests who enjoy exploring on foot.



Other Things to Note:

This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.



For properties with a fireplace, stays between 1 June and 30 September include a starter supply of firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased from local petrol stations, Woolworths, Four Square, and PlaceMakers.



Beach towels are provided.



The TV can only access streaming services. Guests will need to use their own login details.



A coffee plunger is provided at this property.



Waiheke Island relies entirely on rainwater tanks. Guests are asked to use water thoughtfully, particularly during the drier summer months.



Pets may be considered on request and must be approved in writing prior to arrival.

7 nights from mid-December to mid-January

3 nights for the remainder of January and holiday weekends

Our team is available seven days a week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with after-hours support for urgent issues.
