Wonderful setting with great views over the bay

The property was accurately represented by the photos. Location and views are stunning. Great walks within 1 minute, and central Oneroa within a 10 min walk. House was perfect for a holiday, and details like quality bed linen would match a quality hotel. We loved out stay.

Fabulous location, had wonderful stay with elderly parents who were heading back to UK. Wish we were there for longer, close to all the amenities & bird life & scenery was incredible.

Had a beautiful stay, the view is breathtaking, even from the ensuite shower. Clean , tidy and comfortable. Great, efficient contact with manager and owner when required. Definitely stay again.

The views were spectacular the position was perfect however the house was not up to standard nor worth the money No screens on the windows & lots of insects / glass roof to dining room made the room so hot it was unusable Crockery was miss matched cracked & chipped / leather sofas in living room cracked & worn / upholstery to dining chairs dirty & torn / No matching glassware / Oven door did no shut properly therefore took an age to head / dishwasher seal faulty & did not dry properly

The accommodation had not been cleaned. Beds and bathrooms had dirty linen and the house was generally unfit for us to stay in. We tried to contact the host but he was overseas and not responding to our many attempts to contact him. We tried to contact the local cleaners but the only numbers we had for them were land-lines and as we were international travellers, we were unable to contact them. As it got later in the day we were getting desperate and had to find alternate accommodation. When we finally had contact from our host he was apologetic and agreed to refund us in full. Unfortunately this has not happened. We are out of pocket and still owed money from the host.

beautiful views and relaxing stay

This was our favorite place on our 6 week Australia/New Zealand trip. Beautiful home, close to places to eat and a good base for touring the island. We wished we had a few more days to enjoy the hospitality of Ewen. He was kind enough to let us check in early as we were coming from a cruise. Would definately stay here again and can recommend to all that want a beautiful place to stay.

Lovely home with access to public transport and an easy walk to town Loved the hot tub And the sensational view from the deck Would suggest a few more pieces of cutlery for the kitchen as 4 forks were not sufficient and a few more wineglasses Enjoyed our stay.

Superb location, amazing property

We all absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. So close to the beach, incredible views, drenched in all day sun, I can’t fault this property. And the owner’s family went above and beyond to locate and return a very sentimental piece of jewellery that I accidentally left behind. I will definitely be coming back.

The location was absolutely wonderful.

The location was absolutely wonderful. The views were awesome and so was the sun, beach access, the spa pool, separate bathrooms, etc - the house is intelligently set out. It worked really well for us and meant we preferred to stay 'home' for dinner rather than going out - the views were magnetic. 3 out of 4 of us did have issues with mosquitoes but the strange part about their bites was that they weren't itchy! We'd highly recommend Bliss Cottage.
