Reutte is a market town in the Austrian state of Tyrolia. Reutte is located in the altitude of 853 meters on the Lech river, and has a population of 6,210.

The name "Reutte" has its origin in "roden" or "reuten" meaning glade.

Reutte is a popular holiday resort and its proximity to the famous Bavarian Castles of Neuschwanstein, Schwangau or the Ehrenberg ruins make Reutte a cultural destination as well as a skiing destination.

"Pros: The location was perfect. Close to all the sightseeing, but away from the crowds. In walking distance to restaurants, bakery and butcher. The house stayed cool, although it was very hot outside. Parking in a garage was available, which was so wonderful as the car was not turning sizzling hot. Big bathroom, well equipped kitchen, we loved it. Cons: Everything was fine. The railroad is close to the property, but it did not bother us."

"Pros: Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen, großen Garten mit Überdachungen, so dass man auch bei leichtem Regen draußen sitzen konnte. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer war super, oben in der Etage 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer, so dass unsere erwachsenen Kinder dort ihr eigenes Reich hatten. Unten großes Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer ein weiteres Badezimmer, Eßbereich, Küche und zusätzlich ein Gäste-WC. Das Wifi war sehr gut. "Pros: Die Ferienwohnung ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist perfekt - Es ist ruhig und man erreicht trotzdem alle touristischen Ziele innerhalb von ca.30 Minuten. Die Vermieter sind herzensgute Menschen, die dieses kleine bisschen mehr machen! Die Bilder entsprechen der Unterkunft und zeigen die Mischung aus alt und modern. Schöne Wanderwege und Einkehrmöglichkeiten direkt neben der Ferienwohnung.Auch unser Hund und die Kinder wurden herzlich empfangen!...

"First of all, we were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was clean, and the sauna was great. We even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the price had already doubled."

"The hotel is old and not very friendly to Americans at least the day I was there. No place to eat, so they charge for dinner buffet and when asked if anything else around I was told by the staff that there is one but you need a reservation. They get you for it is in the middle of no where and we arrived late and did not want to drive 30 minutes for dinner when they were possibly closed. I would find something else if I had to do it again."
