Incredible Views Over the Sea

Truly a spectacular spot. From the dining room window, you can see out over the sea, and from the terrace, a wonderful view of Mt Etna, and Catania beneath in its shadow. The apartment is modestly furnished, has comfortable beds, and is whisper quiet at night. Perfect place for a restful sleep. The beach below is a mix of sand and rock....and ia beautiful. Bit of a climb to get back, but well worth it. Private, quiet, and with clear clear water. The shower is fantastic. Large, with a great rainfall head...very comfortable. The only downside is that the place tended to smell of open drains throughout our stay. Not likely much the owner can do to mitigate this...it is what it is, but just know the scent is unpleasant. Not overwhelming, but unpleasant. It's also quite a drive to a supermarket, so stock the fridge well when you arrive. All in all, a wonderful place to relax, and we found it to be a good base for Catania, Siracusa, Ragisa, etc.

Wir sind angereist ende September, mit Kinder zwischen 11-16. Unseren wichtigste Bedingung war ein Wohnung mit direkten Zugang zum Meer und einfach mall ein zwei Tagen sein. DAs ist hier nicht möglich den direkte Zugang zum Meer ist Nicht machbar, den weg ist komplett kaputt und unmöglich zum gebrauchen. den pool ist geschlossen. Du brauchst einen Auto das nächste Strand ist 10 Minuten Fahren. Für Familien in Herbstferien nicht geeignet. Du hast nur sonne bis 10:00 nacher ist den Wohnung und Terrasse den ganzen Tag im Schatten. Den nächste Restaurant und Supermarkt sind 20 Minuten Autofahrt. Den Einrichtung ist alt Mein Bett müsste ich Jeden Nacht mehrmals den Lattenrost einbauen. Sonst hat es alles was du Brauchst, werde aber diese Wohnung nicht nochmals nehmen.

Bonne taille d’appartement et très belle vue terrasse.Mais résidence vieillissante et éloignée de tout.L’accès à la petite plage est fermée pour risque d’écroulement de la falaise : cela aurait été sympa de le corriger dans l’annonce et/ou de le spécifier avant réservation car sans plage peu d’intérêt. Prix correct mais on le comprend mieux.

Ok, aber....

Der Urlaub war schön, die Unterkunft mit leichten Mängeln. Internet nicht zuverlässig, das Mobiliar teilweise defekt, manchmal fliegt der FI heraus. Abwassergeruch im Bad. Im Grunde Kleinigkeiten mit denen man leben kann. Sehr gut war der Whats App Kontakt, Probleme werden umgehend in Englisch gelöst. Was uns am meisten gestört hat, war, dass der Weg hinunter zum Privatstrand gesperrt war und dies nicht vorab kommuniziert wurde. Das war schließlich ein wichtiger Punkt,die Unterkunft überhaupt zu buchen...

Good living in calm vicinity

Nice apartment in a calm vicinity. Maybe late September is a little off season, since the refurbishments of other flats in the building were going on and the paek season nearby service facilities were closed. We had a mixed pallette of weather, from wind and rain to bright sunshine. But the sea was still lovely during the sunny days and with the help of our car it was a perfect base for exploring eastern Sicily!
