“The casa recreo condo is very well appointed. It was perfect for the two of us with a nice kitchen. We didn’t cook but it has everything you need if you want to cook, there’s even S/P and some spices. the coffee pot was appreciated as well as the coffee ,sweetener and sugar. Very nice bathroom with very nice products, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The king mattress was super comfortable, with nice bedding. “Check in was supposed to be at 3, but staff said we didn’t have a reservation. Eventually, they found it, but then they said they didn’t have a room. Again, eventually, they said they had a room, but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. We waited until 4:30 to be given a room and the cleaning staff were still there. We had to stand outside in the heat most of this time, and I have health issues, so we decided to cool and go for a swim. I have a medical service dog that I have to take everywhere……

“This property is tucked away in a quiet area of San Miguel de Allende. Mauricio met us at the door and helped us get our bags to our room. He was very friendly and helpful. He went over the breakfast schedule and stayed in constant communication with us throughout. ”

“The place was in a truly disgusting state. My wife cleaned the floor with a broom when we got there which took an hour. There was hair and dirt. The shower mats were filled with hair too. There were ants as well in the kitchen area.
The old man who greeted us was nice and friendly, but this place was in no condition for guests. We do not live anything like this at home, we live cleanly and expect the same from our stays. I have include a picture of the cleanup. That was only the stairs. There……
