Great cottage!

Relaxing Sea Side Getaway

Modern, well appointed cottage with endless views of Northumberland Strait. Centrally located and close to main attractions. Can’t wait to go back!

Great getaway on the south coast

The property was welcoming and comfortable, the area was peaceful and a great place to relax for a long weekend. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and always responsive to messages.Overall, a great experience. And best of all, they take pets!

This cottage was the best cottage

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday at a wonderful cottage,this made our family trip the best that it that be. we are so grateful to have such beautiful view to wake up to every morning truly breathtaking would not be able to see this anywhere else. Go walking on the ocean floor early in the morning and in the evening was such a pleasure and a treat for our family. We also absolutely loved your kitchen. It was so wonderful to hang out with all of our family around the island. We’re so thankful that you shared your treasures with our family. We treasured our time there.

Beautiful spot at the edge of the world

Spending a week in this tranquil location, exploring the coast, and watching the tides turn was a wonderful change of pace. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a central PEI location to make daytrips to the rest of the island! Spending our afternoons/evenings on the rear deck were some of our best moments of the trip.

PEI family vacation

The cottage is as described, clean and comfortable. The location is right on the water and our kids had fun exploring when the tide was low. We spent a lot of time at beaches on the north shore 30-40 mins away. The drives back and forth were great for seeing the beautiful countryside.

Love the spot. Excellent for exploring the bottom when the tides are out. Beautiful space, Only tbing i can say is its very bright and perhsps could use more drapes on least one side. But can see how perhaps the view is better. Also Stairs are not safe NOT SAFE

Beautiful cottage with equally amazing views

We were very satisfied staying in the home. Owners were communicative and easily reachable. The location was very convenient being close to the Confederation Bridge, Charlottetown and Cavendish beach! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you may need. The decor and colours of the house were perfect; it gave a modern beechy feel to everything. The best part was the beautiful views of the bay especially through the large picture window in the living room. Would definitely recommend staying here. Our children had a great time!

South Shore

Our family of 4 plus our dog had a wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanside cottage. The location was about 1/2 an hour away from all the attractions (Cavendish, Summerside, Charlottetown etc) and the hosts were very quick to respond to our questions. The cottage was very clean and stocked with an abundance of towels, kitchen items, blankets and toiletries. The cottage was in excellent condition with all the bedrooms being bright and clean. We will definitely be booking this location for our future visits to the island.

Beautiful!!!

Beautiful! Amazing view and relaxing.The cottage was very nice and clean. Patricia and Derrick were quick at replying and answered all of our questions and concerns. The only negative thing would be those stairs going down to the ocean. They were a bit scary. I would rent this place again if I had the chance to.

Beautiful Oceanfront home

This little cabin by the sea was great for our group of 7, 2 families. The space was sufficient and access to water nice. The stairs to the ocean were a bit wonky with the third step a doozy. The kitchen is equipped with lots of dishes and most accessories but highly recommend bringing your own knife or suggest host invest in a couple new, sharp ones.

Beautiful Cottage, Fantastic Location.

Spent a week enjoying this beautiful well-located oceanfront cottage. Owners were awesome and extremely responsive. Check-in process was easy peasy. One warning would be: Stairs to the ocean very steep (not owners fault) and not an option for dogs of any size (need to carry them) or anyone mobility challenged. Everything else in the cottage was wonderful and perfect for our family’s needs and we intend to book again in the future. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your place for a week.

Lovely waterfront home

We had a great time at this lovely, waterfront Borden-Carleton home. The property, with stairs down to the red sand beach, was beautiful. The open living room, dining room, kitchen is a great space with a terrific view over the water. The deck, which has the same wonderful view, is spacious. The house is in a convenient location, a short drive to Victoria, a charming seaside town, which has great restaurants and nice little stores. Patricia was a warm and responsive host. We were welcomed with flowers and baked goods, and the house had everything we needed.

Perfect vacation!

We had the most amazing time. My 6 year old son said his favourite part of our vacation was falling asleep watching the moon reflecting on the ocean. The cottage was amazing, it had everything we needed, it was cozy and clean with lots of space. The kids loved exploring at low tide out on the beach. I agree with other reviews - the stairs down were a bit rickety but we managed! We loved the large yard with lots of space to play. The owners responded quickly to any questions I had. I hope we can come back soon!

Close view of the ocean

We were only 20 feet or so from the ocean and we stayed there during the hurricane Lee. Everything was amazing, clean and enjoyable. Safe and lights only flickered once. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended. Vrbo please release the address before hand as it caused a few problems to only release the exact location the week before. We paid months ahead but could not get the exact location. This will be the last time we book with Vrbo unless they change their policy. Sorry owners but Vrbo’s policy is annoying and insulting. What do they think we will do with this secret address.

Perfect cottage getaway!

This was our second time staying here (3rd visit to PEI) & have loved everything about this cottage. The hosts are very easy to communicate with, the views are spectacular, & the kitchen (& entire cottage) is well-equipped, very clean, & welcoming. We’re hoping to return again!
