“Lovely place with fantastic staff. Would recommend for a small town getaway.”

“Stayed for 2 nights. Location is amazing, right downtown, close to many restaurants. No on site parking, but there is a public garage next door (Fitzroy) that charges $8.75 for 24hrs. No extra amenities in the room (fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker), but there is a common lounge that has those things minus the hair dryer. They just ask that you label your items in the fridge/freezer. Room was very clean, bed was comfy.”

“The hotel was fine but definitely not a 4.5 star hotel as listed on Expedia. The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the hotel is very dated, old and worn out. The rooms were also old and a bit dirty and the beds were not comfortable.”

“We had a great stay at the Anne Shirley! Our room was super clean, furniture and beds were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful pool, staff were friendly and accommodating. A little rough around the edges, but they are clearly working on it all. We stayed in the luxury two bedroom apartment and we had everything we needed and lots of space. Location is excellent, right dab in the middle of green gables, close to beautiful restaurants and beaches. A perfect time! Thanks Anne Shirley's!”

“The shuttles and outdoor seating we liked. However the bathroom had mold and shower faucet was ready to fall off. Noise echoed through the hallways into the room. David’s restaurant was over priced for old reheated meals that appeared to be prepared by a high school cafeteria. Will not recommend this place to anyone!”

“The staff was excellent. The elevator was slow at times, perhaps if they had another bank of elevators, it might be helpful. The rooms were a little dated but very clean. We had asked for a higher floor with a view but they did not give us that. Overall the property was very nice, the staff was wonderful and the location could not have been better for our needs.”
