“Good location, good price, didnt tell us the koho card wasn't accepted until Checkout.”

“Breakfast was pretty good with quite a few options. Enjoyed that the room had a sofa however the bed was uncomfortable. The room also had a microwave and fridge which was helpful. The gym was quite nice. The room and eating area could have a bit more attention from cleaning staff. The front desk staff were not that friendly. There was an issue with the toilet running constantly.”

“Easy to get to tourist areas & downtown, reception was friendly & helpful from where to eat, how to get u-ride drivers when we needed, we axtually extended out stay an extra day before going back to Halifax. Hats off to Kerstine, she went over & above to make our stay great. ”

“This was such a beautiful and unique hotel, so beautifully maintained! From the moment we walked in it was such a wonderful feeling. Breakfast was great and started our day off perfectly. We would take our coffee and tea down to the sunroom in the front to relax and plan our day. I loved the woodwork and little sitting areas scattered around that just wanted to make you curl up with a book and savour the quiet. The kitchenette area in our room great though we didn’t really use it, other than……

“The room was clean but not in great shape. The refrigerator didn’t work. The bathroom tap sprayed everywhere, the skirting on the tub was coming off. There were no screens on the windows when I opened them despite being on the third floor. Breakfast was ok. ”

“The listing said there was not an elevator but was not expecting the unit to be on a second level. They were proactive advising as it was off season there were limited restaurants open. The hot water wasn’t working but they immediately took care of the issue and were very attentive to this issue. All necessary items were available in the kitchen. ”
