Weekend Gem!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend here and had a lovely time! Everything was clean, Don, the host, is very kind, and everything was easy access :) This is the second time I've visited Aurora, NC and I feel like I got to see more of what it has to offer this time around. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to find a peaceful weekend getaway!

Beautiful little place

Great little apt/loft to get away. Beautiful creek area off the sound to do a little fishing or just watch the sun set. Living area was comfortable and very clean.

Little piece of heaven!

Host greeted us upon arrival. Was helpful with local questions. The fishing dock was a great touch for the hubby. Quiet, small, perfect for our visit! We will return again if available for next trip!

Away from it all on the water

Clean, comfortable, updated, and welcoming property. The guest house is upstairs from the garage and has a fully-equipped living room, kitchen, bathroom, and outside decks. Outdoors, you can walk over to the dock and enjoy the view. The owners have two kayaks, a paddleboard, and a canoe for guest use - there's a ramp where you can launch next to the dock.The area has a lot of wildlife and coastal views, and it's not too far from areas like New Bern if you want to explore the town.We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Stay on the Pamlico River

I had the pleasure of staying at the Upwind Acres guesthouse March 14-15th. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and cozy. The sleeping arrangements are so comfortable and the A/C and heat work great (we stayed in the springtime and the weather was all over the place while we were there, so we got to try both!) Wi-Fi is fast - I had to work a shift while staying at the guesthouse and had no problem running multiple applications at a time. Owners Don & Alicia were so kind and easy to communicate with. I would absolutely stay again and cannot wait to go back during the summer to partake in some of their outdoor experiences!
