“it should be stated that there is no restaurant and such on the premises only breakfast. Apparently there hasn’t been an operating restaurant in years, which is stated in the posting of hotels is a very tricky way to get into it. It is quiet you can walk across to the parking lot to go to outback but that’s it.”

“This was our second stay at this hotel and it was wonderful. It is not easy traveling with an 80lb. dog and they make you feel so welcome. The staff is super friendly, they provide a welcome bag for you and for your fur baby. The rooms are always clean, we can leave our dog in the room unattended {HUGE plus}, and the grounds are great for dog walking. The breakfast is always good too. “Not a great experience- we will not return. Location of property not where we expected- would select a room located in town with walking distance to shops and sites next time. Access to property difficult. Climate control of overall property hallways and room had a damp feel in the air. King bed was lumpy. Toilet ran extremely slowly after a flush and was basically non-functioning - ick. Use of first floor public restroom as a back up was equally disappointing as that area was filthy - no one……

“This is a great place for the value to stay for a single or a couple. I have stayed multiple times and it is always clean, the family that runs it is very helpful, the TV works great. No real complaints other than the bathroom is small but the shower and hot water works great. It’s not sprawling glitzy and glamorous as the bigger hotels, but I would 100% stay there again, and my wife stayed with me a couple of times and she was perfectly fine staying there again.”

“This property was a delightful place to stay. I have rated as 5-star across the board. The only detraction was that the majority of the house is on a single thermostat, thus you cannot control the temperature in your room and our room was cooler than we would have preferred. We were told that if we were to stay here again, ask about the one or two rooms that DO have a separate thermostat.”

“Nikki and Sean were very hospitable, friendly and a pleasure to be with. The house had a lot of charm and the rooms were very comfortable and well kept. They had bikes for us to ride which both my wife and I enjoyed. Breakfast each morning was delicious and there was always coffee available. They also have ample parking. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back in the near future.”

“Place was a dump! Definitely not worth the hundreds a night it was! The egg patties were hard, the gym is a storage unit and was unavailable. The room was dirty feeling. Got the suite with the room spa and the spa tub was gross! I had to ask for cleaning supplies to clean it myself and that didn’t even help much just made me feel a tiny bit better knowing I cleaned it! There were young adult friends of the worker hanging out in the front lobby being loud! Maybe they lived there? The hall……

“We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the fresh biscotti were a delight. Our room was comfortable and the little touches like a fresh bottle of water were notable. “Lovely place to stay! The owners are fabulous and the surroundings (working vineyard & farm) are beautiful. Mine was only a one night stay but would love to revisit when I have more time. Hi speed internet worked great. Bed was amazingly comfortable & there was a kitchenette with table & chairs. Huge closet, full size fridge & microwave. The front porch is a delight. I was on a fast trip to look for horses in Bath, NC. It was well worth the 40 minute drive. Would have loved to ride the free……
