Nice house on the lake

This place was perfect for my stay. Exactly what I was looking for. Hosts were prompt with responses and listing was accurate. Loved that this house had two decks. Hot tub was nice as well.

Love this cottage!

Absolutely perfect stay!!! We stayed at Sunset Haven a couple years ago and never thought we could top our stay there, it was wonderful. Sunset Oasis topped it! Both places were awesome but the view from the upstairs bedroom at Oasis is breathtaking! The hot tub was amazing with another fantastic view! We can't wait to come back. Thank you Paul!

Serene Weekend Getaway

Quiet and serene weekend getaway. Plenty of wineries and hiking in the area. Definitely recommend checking out the Taughannock Falls State Park, northwest of Ithaca and then coming back to relax at the hot tub, listening to the sound of waves on the lake.

A home away from home

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend for our annual girls trip. This by far has been the coziest stay right on the lake! The house was stocked with everything you need to feel at home. The views and location right on the lake is incredible. There is a winery and brewery right up the road too.

Loved this oasis on the lake. The views are awesome and the place is nicely decorated. The hot tub was great as it was chilly while we were there. Any questions were promptly answered by the owners and host. We visited a few wineries around the lake. Would like to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the beautiful deck!

I have been waiting for this tyoe of stay my whole life! Directly on the water, i felt like i was waking up on a boat every day. From the outdoor spaces, to the hot tub, to full ammenity kitchen, to the absolutely stunning sunsets our stay could not have been better!

Magical

We had an amazing stay at Sunset Oasis! We were able to check in early on Thanksgiving, and on that day, my boyfriend proposed! We took a long walk and were in hot tub and had champagne with the Christmas lights on! We had our kids there for a day, and made a special dinner. At night, the water and waves lapped up and we never slept so good. It was a magical stay I will never forget!

Gorgeous property right in the lake

The cottage was fully equipped with all imaginable amenities and more. The hosts, known for their exceptional kindness and hospitality, had truly thought of everything. Situated by the lake, the property offered 2 kayaks, a fantastic grill, a fully stocked kitchen, and an abundance of towels. The beds were cozy, with plenty of linens and blankets available. And to top it off, the cottage was also pet-friendly! Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed lounging in the sun and relaxing on the screened porch. I could go on and on, did I mention the paddle boat and the hot tub? Great stay overall and highly recommend!

Sunset Oasis did not disappoint!

This cottage on Cayuga Lake was absolutely amazing! To begin, the house is stocked with whatever you need in the kitchen and elsewhere! Don’t worry that you won’t have the right pan or dish…..it’s there. Towels galore, including beach towels were also plentiful! The house is well decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kayaks provided were terrific quality and life vests of every size were provided as well. The campfire pit was terrific with wood provided. Lastly, the view from the deck can’t be beat! Sunsets were gorgeous! We will be back! Wonderful weekend getaway for us! Thank you!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay

We were impressed with how many decks there were. Our favorite was the top deck off the living room. We sat out there a lot. Love that there is a fire pit down by the water. Wish it wasn't so hot out or we would have used it. The dock was really nice. We rented a boat for the day and it was nice to stop off to refresh and get some snacks. Beautiful views of the sunsets. You won't be disappointed in the amount of space there is. The only negative thing we had was the king sized be was hard. Luckily we trave with camping foam bedrolls. So if you don't like a hard bed, you might want to do the same. The place could use a little TLC but with the summer turnover, we understand that this probably doesn't happen until the end of the busy season. We definitely would love to come back. The host were fantastic! Such nice and attentive people. If we had a question, they were right there with help and answers. Check-in and out are easy and fast. No waiting around and no issues.

Gorgeously relaxing water and sunset views

This property was better than advertised. You can't feel the overhang ocean-liner view over water from the deck until you see it for yourself. The primary bedroom view is equally amazing - just higher up. The sometimes-unpredictable weather changes were fun - who would've thought one would see whitecaps on a lake?! The owners were most attentive and hosted well - we felt at home. Only 2 negative surprises, one of which was completely on us. We've never rented a home without a dishwasher and made the assumption, but it was not on the amenity list so that was a miss on our part. We def learned to cope - not a bad view stacking the dishes in the drying rack! The only other suggestion to the hosts would be attention to the big picture feel of cleanliness. The floors and bathroom and kitchen were great. I'm referring to the screens, window and door panels, and baseboards. Some of the drywall had a bit of wear and tear which is expected, especially when renting out a home, but I found myself distracted by the home's interior frames of the gorgeous outside views. A scrub and a fresh coat of paint on the sills, panes and baseboards would go along way. Thanks for listening.

A real oasis

This property is perfect for having a grand lake adventure! I brought my brother and his groomsman here for a chill bachelor's trip and it was a fantastic time. The house was clean, the outdoor activities were plentiful, and the kitchen was equipped to cook anything we wanted to. Catching some perch off the dock and enjoying the sunset were the highlights of my weekend.
