This is a stunning home, but the listing was not entirely accurate & numerous maintenance issues affected our stay. This was especially disappointing given the nearly 3,000/night holiday rate for my daughter’s 40th birthday.We were invited to arrive early but couldn’t enter because no door code was provided.The living and dining areas were stunning and the welcome snacks appreciated. However, the large sliding doors to the pool area were extremely difficult to open, the intense morning sun & lack of window shades made the main living area very uncomfortable, the main oven didn’t work, the griddle malfunctioned, the grill was full of ash & caught fire, the ice machine didn’t work, kitchen drawers were mislabeled, the espresso machine had very few pods, and the coffee pot broke while in use.The casita had no hot water, forcing six guests to share one shower. Most bathrooms lacked hand towels and washcloths. The half bath faucet wouldn’t turn off, and the downstairs bedroom was very poorly furnished for guests. Other issues included an incorrectly listed bed size, a desk without a chair, a wobbly, unsafe pool stepping stone, trash and broken furniture in the yard, missing games, and some bedroom window coverings that didn’t provide full privacy.Although beds were comfortable & the house beautiful, the number and seriousness of these issues did not match the premium price. I have requested a price adjustment and will update this review after management responds.
