This luxury waterfront home is located on Lake Austin, where you will be just 30 minutes from downtown Austin yet enjoy the tranquility of lakeside living. The house was designed to bring the outside in with expansive views and has multiple decks and patios to take full advantage of the outdoors.
Relax to spectacular sunsets, cozy up in front of a fire, BBQ and dine al fresco, bask in the sun, shoot billiards, lounge around in the shade, or take a dip in the lake. At Stairway to Heaven, you'll have a lot of choices for where to have fun at this beautiful lake house!
The main indoor living area has an ideal open-concept layout, with a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, dining, and living space. Panoramic lake views are the star of the show, so be prepared to grab your morning coffee or evening cocktail (or nothing at all) and step onto the large adjoining balcony to spend your vacation enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
Downstairs you have another spacious living area with ample, cozy seating where you can spread out and watch movies or your favorite sports.
This property is located in an affluent, quiet lakeside neighborhood which is perfect for family vacations, lake retreats, romantic holidays, and groups of friends. Parties are not allowed.
Important note: Stairway to Heaven is named for its stunning lakeside location and also the stairway of 100 steps leading down to the dock. Also, parking is at the top of the driveway with a stairway of ~50 steps down to the house. This property is not a good fit for anybody who cannot navigate the stairs.
The boat slip is not included in the rental.
Per the city of Austin short term rental ordinance the following rules apply to every vacation rental within city limits, with no exceptions: 1) Outdoor spaces are not available for use from 10 PM to 7 AM, 2) Parties and events are not permitted, 3) Occupancy limit of 6 unrelated adults
Cancel within 24 hours of booking free of penalty!
HOUSE LIMITATIONS: While we love to celebrate special occasions, the property does not operate as a venue. Reservations are for accommodations only. No guests under 25 (without parent or legal guardian). No Bachelor parties. No smoking anywhere on premises.
This home is pet friendly. However, there is an additional fee and damage deposit required.
The boat lift is NOT included in the rental. We also want guests to know that it is not recommended that they tie up their boats to the dock for an extended period.
