Super busy area but very quiet hotel. The beds we had were so uncomfortable. Elevator buttons barely work and valet lost my car which put us behind on leaving. The manager was great and immediately refunded us.

Pues pasamos un muy mal fin de semana la falta de personal y el mal estado del cuarto hicieron que nuestro fin de semana estuviera muy mal 2 veces fueron a arreglar la puerta del baño los dispensadores de shampoo no tenian la pompa falta de de toallas y ropa de camma para el sofa cama el no limpiar la habitación y el tener que estar hablando continuamente para que nos enviaroan lo nesesario mi dinero muy mal invertido en un lugar que crees va estar muy bien pero es solo el nombre y solo se disculparon prometiendome me iban a dar unos puntos para una estancia que no he recibido y expedia se lavo las manos también que mal

We were put in a room with a view of the roof and a wall. It is extra expensive to stay here since valet parking is sooo high

This location exceeded our expectations. The staff was so kind and attentive. It’s just a basic hotel, but it’s comfy and clean and honestly, that’s what you want when you have stay away from home.

The air conditioning system was so loud that we could not sleep. Every time it came on it woke us up. It was like a gale force wind. I had to out the covers over my head. Miserable.

The pool looked nothing like the photos online, we were not the only couple to walk in with our bathing suits on, and walk out. We booked this hotel based on the pool and breakfast and both were subpar.

Air conditioner went out, phone did not work in room. Asked for Manager, no one ever contacted me but was told at checkout that I was refunded $29 dollars to Expedia. I paid 245 and checked in around 10PM. Not happy. Over all staff was great and bartender made an excellent margarita mix!

the one thing I did not like is that there was a man from the outside that was using computers to watch porn and jacking off. My friend witness this and reported it and i was surpised that one, you allow those sites, that they are not blocked and 2 with the computers being so close to front desk how this happens, 3 you need to have a password for hotel guest only and 4 the room is opened to the outside and anyone from the outside could have seen this happen.

Pros: clean, friendly service, location (close to plenty of social activities). Cons: bed and pillows were extremely soft, valet parking: very expensive (with different fees added, plus asked for tip with a fee!). It was a bit excessive. Overall, if they found a better way to process the valet situation, it would have been a better experience.

Hyatt Place is right downtown, close to the main streets and the river. The park is a short walk across the bridge and is an enjoyable town. The Hyatt staff were good and the valet was handy (parking is $50 per night or more anywhere in Austin).
