Short Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at The Island. The unit was decorated very nicely. It should have been cleaned a little more thoroughly and the back patio was in need of a deep cleaning but overall, it was a nice getaway for my husband and I. We will definitely stay at The Island again.

Great place to stay!

The property was as advertised. Great location and incredible zero gravity bed! Could have used a few more pans and pots for cooking, but awesome stay. We will be back.

2nd stay - great experience both times!

This our family’s second time staying here within a 4 year time span. Both times have been amazing, peaceful, and easy. Exactly what we needed! The condo is clean and well kept, the bed specifically is AMAZING. The deer food and being able to feed the deer is a LOVE from our kids. The views are beautiful and it overall is such an enjoyable stay both times we’ve been. Can’t wait to go back!

After Christmas Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay on the Island and taking time together to relax after the busy holidays. The unit was absolutely pristine inside and had all of the amenities needed. Plenty of towels for our family and beach towels for the hot tubs. The boys played golf while the girls visited the shopping in Cedar Lake. We also took a nice hike around the island. We enjoyed letting the deer and ducks eat right out of our hands! Definitely a place we plan to visit again!

Clean well equipped unit in a great facility.

The property was as advertised. The unit was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything you'd need, and beach towels were provided. This unit was on the east side of the resort and so didn't have a lake view from the patio when we visited because the lake was too low. We spent evenings on the patio, where we could feed deer that approached from the deer corn supplied by the owner. The two women in our group went down and hand fed the deer. We spent days visiting with the other guests and residents in the pool. The facility has a well equipped workout facility, a modest gift shop, adequate restaurant and covered parking. All in all, it's possible that we'll visit again.

Not enough electric outlets in master bedroom or bathroom. Deck appeared to have never been swept or furniture vacuumed. No view of the lake. Otherwise it was all good.
