“The pool wasn’t clean, the vending machine gave me a Diet Pepsi that expired 12/2025, and the morning of checkout an employee tried to get in our room at 7:52am but luckily couldn’t because we had it deadbolted. Then later in the morning when we were taking things to the vehicle, two different times asked if we were done in our room. Checkout was at 11am and this was between 9 and 9:30.”

“We really enjoyed our stay overall! The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was still some sand here and there, but honestly, that’s to be expected at a beachfront hotel. The deck and beach areas were beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the property.

“It was such a pleasure meeting Bill and Veda during our stay! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us a delicious breakfast each morning and even packing up extra fruit for us to take to the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The place itself is beautiful, cozy, and made us feel right at home. For our first visit to the Outer Banks, we truly couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The location was perfect a short walk to the beach access and several great food spots.
