While this property was built in 1939 and therefore are smaller rooms, it has retained the lovely charm of its day and incorporated modern amenities. It is well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was attentive to the area. While the dunes prevent a view of the ocean, it is just a short walk to the beach. It is close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Monument, which was our primary reason for our stay.

Lobby is dark with lots of wood. I realize that the look is part of preservation of the history of the hotel. I think adding more light in the lobby would make it less depressing and old and moldy looking. The rooms are updated but the lobby is old world.
