The entire stay was wonderful from the second we were picked up from the ferry! (Which by the way is a great amenity especially since this hotel is a bit of a walk up hill from the main city street and all you have to do is call and tip). All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very spacious! You can’t beat the views all around the hotel. Pool was relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and in the weekend had a waffle and omelet station that the chef cooked for us! Karl set up the outdoor fire pit for us which was lovely to sit by at night. We stayed in the colonial king suite and was perfect.

Everything was excellent, except the mattress CLEARLY needed to be discarded (felt like I was sleeping in a hole). The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room itself and balcony were beautiful, clean and welcoming.
MY wife and I will certainly stay here again next year.

Loved the location of this property with amazing views all round. Our rooms were gorgeous, very spacious, and again with amazing views over the ocean and hills. The rooms also had great character.
I found the buffet breakfast to be a little disappointing, considering the price of the hotel, though the freshly prepared omelets were very good. The shuttle service up and down the hill worked fine for our party of four and anyone with reasonable mobility can handle the walk down the hill without using the shuttle.
I would definitely stay here again!

We recently had a fantastic stay at the Zane Grey Pueblo Hotel, and we absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful it was compared to the busier main street. The service was seamless from start to finish; I contacted the hotel a few days prior to arrange a pickup, and once we arrived at the pier, I texted them and was met by an incredibly nice and helpful golf cart driver. Check-in was perfectly smooth, and though we only booked a standard room, it was cozy and both the overall size and amenities exceeded our expectations. We also really enjoyed the good, simple breakfast provided in the morning. The hotel is situated up a hill, which keeps it wonderfully serene, and as a young couple, walking up and down was no problem at all for us. We would absolutely stay here again!
