「Can’t fault anything Lynn and Steve were perfect hosts very friendly, breakfast was great. Everything was spotless, great place to stay Very close to beach and restaurants and bus routes」

「Parking is limited and prebookable at £10 a night, but there is plenty of free street parking in the area. We had a nice sea view on the 3rd floor, but unfortunately the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor. The room was compact but clean and comfortable with a nice big walk in shower. The breakfast is a buffet and was included in the price we paid. It was edible but the bacon was stuck together so some wasn’t cooked properly and the eggs were a little rubbery. Also the toaster was very much hit...

「Charming place, we hadn’t realised how good the sea views were/are. Nicely located being a short walk from Babbington centre with the rest of the English Riviera easily accessible. Heating and hot water both fine, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen (even washing up without a dishwasher didn’t seem like a chore with those views!). We had an issue with the WiFi which the owner worked to resolve, sadly without success. But Sunny Bank is a great spot in a great location - recommended」

「We stayed in a ground floor twin room at the Cromwell Arms during the heatwave of July 2026. The room was pleasant, the beds comfortable. Whilst there was an additional heater in the wardrobe, a fan would have been gratefully received. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Overall a good place to stay.」

Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. 「What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.」
