“Excellent sea view from our room. Lovely grounds, well kept, good for walking our dog. Car parking was reasonable cost and easy, able to use the facility door full 24 hrs.”

“Fabulous adults only property with stunning spa facilities. Excellent food, reasonable bar prices and friendly staff. We did ask to move rooms and (loud dripping from drainpipes just outside the room which was very annoying given the pouring rain) this was accommodated immediately. Nice to park in the hotel grounds, but £15 per day is a little excessive, although appreciate it is secure and monitored. Heated towel rail in the bathroom is way too small to accommodate bath towels and spa towel,……

“I love the Valley of Rocks! It's quirky, friendly, unique. PLEASE don't come here expecting posh hotel luxury. You'll be disappointed. No bar, no breakfast. On the evening I arrived there was no hot water (it was kind of fixed - warm water, anyway - the following day); the lift wasn't working; a broken sash cord in my bedroom window meant it didn't open. It's clearly, as a hotel, hanging on by its fingernails. So why do I like it?? Because it's one-of-a-kind - vast, faded Victorian grandeur,……

“I enjoyed my stay and overall I rate it good. The service was a little slow at times perhaps because it was at full capacity owing to the good weather. And the salt and pepper shakers were very sticky and I doubt had ever been cleaned. Nonetheless I would stay here again. ”
